Turtle Island Sanctuary and the Hula Moon Hale: $100 per night (sun-thursday) $150 (friday & saturday) - 7 night minimum.  plus $125 cleaning fee

Coastal Hawaii Cottage on 3+ acres of luxuriant tropical gardens, with access to private tide pools,
natural swimming pond and the ocean. Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, often called the Orchid
Isle for its heavy blankets of fragrant orchid flowers.

Your own tropical paradise - total privacy and access to some of the most beautiful attractions on
the big island of Hawaii. Turtle Island Sanctuary is a rustic retreat located on the eastern most tip
of the Puna district, 35 minutes south of Hilo in WaaWaa.

The Hula Moon Hale was newly constructed this past year and includes a full kitchen, outdoor garden
shower, and state of the art outdoor toilet. This region is considered one of the most pristine and
true Hawaiian paradises on the islands, surrounded by conservation land and off the old red road (a
scenic route that borders the ocean).

The Hula Moon Hale is less than a mile to private tide pools, a natural swimming pond on the ocean. 4
1/2 miles from a great surfing beach and hot ponds or snorkeling at the tide pools at Kapoha and four
miles from Lava Tree State Park. Great sunbathing at Black Sand Beach, shopping at Farmer’s Market,
Ecstatic Dance and Drumming on Sundays.

Take a drive to go exploring at Volcano National Park or into Hilo for shows, museums, shopping,
waterfalls. A 20 minute drive and a picnic dinner and you can watch the lava
flow!

All properties in Waa Waa run on Solar and water catchment systems. Our new hale is equipped with
solar panels and propane - with a full kitchen on a the screened in back lanai.

The Sanctuary is 2 miles from Green Lake and 4 miles from the millionaire’s pond (a 90 degree geo-
thermally heated by the volcano swimming pool next to the ocean).

The Sanctuary is set on 3+ acres - there are cleared hiking paths with Bird of Paradise, Hibiscus,
Ti, Ginger, gardenia, and much more. Mature trees; Palm, Mango, Milo, Banyan and Banana and others.
