 This is a lakefront log cabin where you can relax and relax and relax.

It's quiet community and lake. Great for swimming.  In the summer, swim (even from the dock), boat, fish, sit out on your dock and watch the spectacular sunsets.  Go to the nearby beaches and come home to watch the spectacular sunset from your own dock on the lake.

Spring time is also very beautiful- April and May and early June are wonderful months in Rhode Island,with flowers
and trees in bloom. Enjoy the quiet before the summer months. They are less expensive as well.

In the fall it's a foliage wonderland and idea for a couple's getaway. Take walks along the lake, the woods, or the quiet beaches, or watch the wildlife. Curl up with a book,be lazy, enjoy a tranquil time away from your
normal hectic pace.

The house is a white cedar log cabin with three bedrooms (plus additional sleeping loft with full length twin beds) and two full baths.
Incredible lake views from most rooms which also have cathedral log ceilings.

When you walk into the cabin and see the lake through all the windows, your blood pressure will drop 20 points.  It is the most relaxing place to vacation.

Spectacular sunsets from your own private dock with built-in seating, or your slate patio-breathtaking, unobstructed
lake scenes.

The four-season lakefront family room has a cathedral log ceiling and 8 large windows looking out to the lake.

On warm days, have drinks on the dock or one of two slate patios (one with outdoor fireplace, picnic table and gas grill), without the sound of jet skis or motor boats
(under ten hp boats only- and usually there are just the bass fishermen with their quiet, electric motors).

Famous location for bass fishing (either from your own dock or on the lake) - boats: rowboat, small sailboat, two canoes, five kayaks- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

All the amenities in a rustic, restored log cabin: dishwasher,
washer/dryer, flat screen HD Fios TV with 200+ channels, DVD and stereo with CD player, wireless high speed internet, and free local and log-distance calling.
Two zone heating for the cooler months.

Why drive all the way to Maine or the Jersey Shore to get away from everyday life when you can relax in an authentic log cabin on Indian Lake in half the travel time.

Minutes to Rhode Island beaches, eight minutes to Amtrak Kingston station, 20 minutes to downtown Newport. Rental Car information available- for pick up and drop off at Kingston Station- Monday thru Saturday.
Must see to appreciate the tranquil, panoramic views.
Travel from New York City is approximately three hours; from Boston, one and a half hours and Providence, 40 minutes by car or train.

Those who can should look to November($1,600)-weekly rate- or see special November weekend rates below or  a real New England Thanksgiving at the lake. 

There is spectacular foliage this year due to the late fall  - quiet and beautiful- with lots of wildlife

In November 4 nights-$275 per night 

In November 3 nights-$300 per night

We are also starting to book for Spring and Summer of 2012

July and August are $2,100 per week (for RETURNING GUESTS) or $2,200 for new guests- plus cleaning fee and refundable Security Deposit.

We can also take reservations for April, May, and June and September and October weeks/long weekends.

Spring weeks 2011: April $1,500, May $1,700, June $1,900. 

2 night rentals (by request only) are $400 per nightplus cleaning fee and security deposit

3 night (long weekend) rentals are $350 per nightplus cleaning fee and security deposit

4 night (long weekends) rentals are $325 per nightplus cleaning fee and security deposit.
