Enjoy our 2300sq ft house overlooking the Rappahnnock river, tour DC during the day and then come
back and enjoy the country life. Just take the zig zag path down to the river and picnic by the
river side or if you choose, you may drive right up to the picnic area. There is a nice sandbar for
the kids to make sand castles, wade in the river or try their hand at fishing.
We have 2 lakes in walking distance where you can fish or swim and there is a boat for your use.
. The house is 3 levels, the first level has 2
bedrooms with full size beds, and a full sleep sofa, 2 baths,One bath is fully handicap with a walk
in shower. full kitchen, family room, dining area, washer and dryer, sun porch with a futon to sleep
on in the warm months,
walkout deck and patio to enjoy a family cookout on the grill, 2nd floor is the great room with
antique sitting area and dining area with a piano, 3rd floor is the master bedroom with a bath were
Mom and Dad can relax. We are located in the quiant little town of Amissville, but we do have our
own vineyard and there are many nearby to tour. We are 60 miles west of DC, 40 miles from Dulles
airport and 20 minutes to the blueridge parkway. The house is fully air conditioned and heated.
