Up Up and Away in Clayton

(This is the first time this property has been offered to rent! It has only been used for periodic weekends by owner since it's inception in 1999.)

Up up and away is how you'll feel when you reach our mountain getaway. Spectacular views can be seen from every direction!

As you drive up the single lane paved road winding up Screamer Mtn, you know from the smell of the mountain air, friendly atmosphere, and the stunning views that you have reached your "no stress" zone. This breathtaking home sits halfway up the mountain and boasts spectacular views.

Up up and Away is conveniently located in the NE GA mountains on Screamer Mountain. We are located in Clayton GA and just a few miles to many destinations, such as Sky Valley and the Highlands.

As you enter the cabin, you are greeted by a stone fireplace in the center of the great room and are drawn out to the front deck as you can see the view as you first walk in. The front of the house is all glass with the fireplace in the middle of the great room. You can sleep in the loft and see through the windows in the great room to the town of Clayton below!

Please come and enjoy anything you'd like! It can be a large family reunion or a romantic getaway. We have something for everyone in Clayton and the surrounding areas. There is hiking, biking, boating, snow tubing, rock climbing, shopping,etc., and best of all............relaxing in the fresh mountain air.

Wood burning fireplace, ceiling fans, central air/heat, fully stocked kitchen including microwave & dishwasher, washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, blow dryer, charcoal grill, hammock. Most utensils and cookware are provided. Covered parking. (2) Queen beds, (2) double bed, (1) Futon.

Please feel free to bring your pets - they love to walk the mountain and go to the nearby rivers!!!

Climbing, State Parks, Wildlife Views, Board Games, Cards, Reading, and Relaxing, are just a few of
the activities available.

2009 Rates: $300/weekend (Friday/Sat night), $145 each additional night. $900/week (5 nights, 6 days) $1050/week (6 nights, 7 days) Inquire about long term rates.

Cleaning fee - $150 (includes minimum or maximum number of guests)
Security Deposit - $250 refundable - 2 night minimum stay
Cancellation Policy - 50% refund with 30 days notice, no refund within your 30 days of stay.
Rental Agreement can be mailed or emailed to you and must be completed and returned to confirm your
reservation. Half rental fee, security, cleaning fee due with application.
