new, custom built, free standing, tropical style, Studio Cottage!

This exotic studio cottage is located on 1/2 acre of land in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to the
Nounou (Sleeping Giant) Forest Reserve. It is surrounded by large, graceful bamboo and tropical
gardens! There is a variety of fruit available in season including, avocado, mango, lychee, guava,
passionfruit, adamoya, papaya, banana, starfruit, and citrus fruit.

Just a 5 mile drive to the Wailua and Lydgate beaches and famous Wailua river, where you can snorkel,
swim, boogieboard, take surf lessons, take a boat tour or kayak to the fern grotto, water ski, view
the east coast along the 5 mile bike path or just enjoy walks along the 3 mile stretch of white sand
beach. From the property, you can enjoy walks along the Nounou trail or take an early morning hike to
the top of Nounou Mountain and take in the breathtaking 360 degree view of Kauai's Eastside! Other
breathtaking mountain trails and state parks are just a 5-60 minute drive from the property.

You may just find yourself relaxing on the large, epay wood deck while taking in breathtaking
mountain views and waterfalls cascading down Mt. Makahela.

The Interior of the 500 sq ft cottage is tastefully designed to bring the outdoors in! Exotic slate
flooring, high beam ceilings, ceiling to floor windows, custom made natural cherry cabinets, oil
rubbed bronze fixtures and exotic lighting. The furnishings are of
tropical bamboo which add to the relaxing and romantic atmosphere! You will sleep as if on a cloud
on the Queen size Tempurpedic bed! The couch has a built-in lounge and the cushions are made of a
soft, suede-like material. The linens are all of high quality.

Your hosts are long time residents of Kauai and live in the main house on the property. We are happy
to share our wealth of knowledge about Kauai in order to help you make the most of your vacation!

stocked with kitchenware.

are a Variety of Hiking Trails in the area.

Also in the Wailua River area, You will find Smiths Gardens, which offer the best Luau on the island,
Kayaking, River Boat Tours, and Hawaiian Village and Garden Tours. There are several rental shops in
the area where you can rent Bikes,Snorkel Gear, Boogie Boards and Surfboards. There several activity
companies that offer Dolphin and Whale Adventures. Rafting, Zip Line, Rock Climbing, Sailing,
Boating, Waterskiing, Parasailing, and Fishing, Snorkeling/Diving, Horseback Riding,Helicopter and
Botanical Garden Tours. Also nearby are Fitness Center/Gym's, Health/Beauty Spa's, Yoga Center,

One mile down the road from the cottage there is a beautiful park with tennis and basketball courts.
There are also lighted Tennis Courts 10 minutes away in Kapaa Town. There are a Variety of
Restaurants and Shops in the area. The Coconut Market Place, with over 60 Shops along with 3 main
Grocery Stores - Safeway, Foodland and Longs Drug Store, Blockbuster, Starbucks, Jamba Juice and
Healthfood Store are also just a 10 minute drive away.
