the past...the feel of the Caribbean, but much easier to reach. Upper Captiva (or North Captiva -
even the natives can't agree) is vastly different than Captiva, its southern neighbor and is
accessible only by regular water taxi or private boat. Located on the Northern tip of a 700-acre
natural barrier island which stretches from the waters of Pine Island Sound to the Gulf of Mexico, a
distance of about half a mile. 'The Dolphin House' is sited among the natural beauty of tropical
vegetation, four miles of sand beach and some of the best shelling in North America. Transportation
on the island is by electric golf cart, bicycles or walking. Includes a Safety Harbor Club
membership where you have Dockage, tennis courts and swimming pool. A Golf Cart is provided with
your rental.

There are three Restaurants, two gift shops and one small convenient store. You can rent boats,
and jet skis at the Boat & Fun store also located on the Island. Two miles on preserved
State land where beach walking and shelling is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Unlimited...Fishing, shelling, beach walking, hiking on the State Land, swimming & tennis.
