The Beach House, directly across the street from the resort, is a
great restaurant where you can watch the sunset. There are many other
good restaurants within close driving distance.

The Spouting Horn is also a short walk from the resort.

The Lawai Beach is directly across the street from the resort and is
renowned for its snorkeling, surfing, and whale watching. Rent your
snorkel equipment and boogie boards at the Lawai Beach Resort general
store and walk across the street to hit the beach for the day.

Nearby, Golfers appreciate having two Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed courses right in Poipu, that include Kiahuna Golf Course and Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course, which is the site of the annual PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

Nearby Poipu is mostly known for it's year round sunshine and Poipu Beach. The Island of Kauai is rated as the #2 Island in the World, and Kauai is #1 of the Hawaiian Islands.

What else can you do on Kauai? Paddle a kayak on the leeward side,
hike the Na Pali coastal trails, drive to majestic canyon views (yes,
Kauai even has their own grand canyon), up to the wettest spot on
earth, then down to Poipu, which is one of the driest. This island has
much more to offer than its physical size might suggest. You can take
a helicopter ride to see Na Pali from the air and it's the most
spectacularly beautiful sight to see.

A drive northward to Princeville is a nice place to go. It's much wetter over on that side during the winter but having cocktails or lunch at the resort
there is a nice way to view a new scene.
