Imagine waking up in your king sized bed and being able to view the
ocean from your pillow! Gorgeous views of the ocean and the
intracoastal/city from the master bedroom, living room and
terraces. Enjoy breakfast while reading your paper on the terrace,
come up for a spot of lunch on the terrace and a pre dinner glass of
wine on the terrace is fun too!
We start our day with tennis (off of Sunrise Blvd) then go down to
the pool for the afternoon. We try and grab seats overlooking the
ocean but anywhere on the patio is truly fun. The new outdoor
furniture is bright and attractive and you will love the large
overstuffed lounges for two! Lots of canopies and umbrellas for the
shade seekers. Poolside service for drinks and food.
About 3 pm we head down to the beach to finish our afternoon in the
sun. We love to walk along the beach on a walkers path after sunning
and do about 3 miles along the action packed A1A. Sometimes we even
stop on the way back and share a large Marquarita at one of the many
outside bars.
Next is exercising in the beautiful spa and work out facility before
showering and then out to a great dinner on Las Olas or by the
riverfront. There are a myriad of fun restaurants in the area for
families or couples. Great dancing on Las Olas for the night owls,
too!
Movies, supermarkets, malls and yes even flea markets are close by!
Fort Lauderdale has a lot to offer and is close to South Beach,
gambling at the Hard Rock, and other beautiful south Florida
locations like Del Ray and Boca Raton. Disney World is about 3 hours
away.
