Our Beautiful Two Bedroom condo, Hale O Mele La'i, our "House of Happy Songs" in Waikoloa Villas has been beautifully furnished as a home, not just a vacation rental. Our Non-Smoking, spacious 1260 sq ft unit, plus a very roomy Lanai allows for very comfortable living with a view across the golf course to the Pacific ocean.

Waikoloa Villas is situated along the 18 hole WAIKOLOA GOLF COURSE, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.   By being our guests, you are offered discounted Membership privileges at Waikoloa Village Clubhouse--Robert Trent Jones golf course, Olympic sized pool, tennis courts.  For the avid golfer, there are six other golf courses near by.

...This is a large very nicely appointed condo, very quiet, with a nice view of the golf

LIVING AREA:
Among our beautiful furnishings is a cushy Leather Double Recliner. Those couches with
loose floral cushions are pretty, but also pretty uncomfortable to sit on, if you are
spending any extended time here, (which we hope you will do). We enjoy decorating with
local art of Hawaii, with more than 35 pieces on the walls.

BEDROOMS-2:
Our extremely comfortable California King Bed in the Master Bedroom Suite has extra
length and a beautiful new Hawaiian quilt.. The Queen bed in the second bedroom is also
quite comfortable, with beautiful floral on black background comforter and curtains.. In
addition, the Second Bedroom has an attractive twin day bed with a new comfortable Back
Saver mattress with matching decor.
There is a Foam Futon Twin Mattress to use on the floor for a smaller person.

KITCHEN:
We have a Full Kitchen with Stove, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator--new September 2009, , Coffee Pot, Rice Cooker, Mixer, Espresso Machine, Tea pot, Toaster, Blender.  A Large selection of quality Pots and Pan and two sets of
Dishes, plus other necessities are provided.

LANAI:
Our Lanai is especially large and roomy---space for table with 4 cushioned  chairs, love seat, like adding another room. A small refrigerator and wet
bar make it easy to reach for that cold drink. As you look out over the expanse of the golf course you can watch the golfers from our lanai. The distant view of the blue Pacific and Sunsets are also gorgeous from here!
By the way, we have WiFi, so bring your laptop! We have three (3) Phones if you need that conference call back home.

We take pride in keeping our unit looking fresh and inviting, assisted by only one Special
housekeeper. Our unit is in a quiet setting not disturbed by traffic noise.
Hale O Mele La'i is indeed our "House of Happy Songs" in Hawaii! Mele La'i is the name
of an old Hawaiian Hymn. We love the Hawaiian Culture and we want to share that with
our guests by providing an extensive library of Hawaiian Music. You may also enjoy
picking up the ukulele and making your own music.

As mentioned, we are totally Non Smoking, either Inside or on the Lanai. We also can Not
allow Pets.
We invite you to come and be pampered in the beautiful Home-like environment we have
created for your enjoyment.

There is a hot tub at each of the two salt water swimming pools, both of which are comfortably solar heated.

Waikoloa Village has a nice Shopping Center with a full line, top notch, affordable local
grocery store with bakery, deli, and meat market...also a gas station, three small
restaurants, medical offices, beauty salon, bank, florist, health food store, Post Office.

We enjoy the best of both worlds by being at about 900 foot elevation, with nights a little
cooler and days warm and sunny, therefore the 3 ceiling fans are adequate for comfort. It
is just a short 7 mile drive to the South Kohala Gold Coast where there are Six beautiful
long sandy Beaches to choose from, including the well known Hapuna Beach (voted the
best in the country) and 'Anaeho'omalu Bay ("A Bay") which is the closest.

We are Centrally Located to the Beaches, Shops and Restaurants along the Kohala coast,
the North Shore with Kamehameha's birthplace, the Paniolo (cowboy) town of Waimea, the
old town of Hilo, the Volcano, and the shops and restaurants of Kona, and so much more.
The Big Island has 11 different climate zones from the ocean to the top of Mauna Kea and
Mauna Loa, so much variety of things to see and do.
