Only 30 minutes from Guadalajara International Airport, Ajijic is
home to the largest U.S. and Canadian expat community in the world.

can LIVE for a little while in the most desirable part of Ajijic, in
a quiet area near the center of town. There is nothing like the charm
and convenience of living in the Village! One block from
the Lake, one block from the Wednesday Farmers Market,(tianguis) two
blocks from inexpensive bus service if you care to venture out of town.
Only 4 blocks from the Lake Chapala Society and six blocks from the
Plaza. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, cinema, live
entertainment,florist,antique shops, unique galleries and
artisan shops within a short walk. No car necessary! A fifteen minute
stroll will get you anywhere and everywhere! This charming 1100 sq.
ft. two story guest house with open floor plan is light and
airy, tastefully decorated with lots of Mexican folk art, bright
colors and plenty of character. With beautiful tile work thoughout,
this darling cottage has it's own privacy wall and features a
comfortable living and dining room, ideal for reading or watching T.V.
There's also a fireplace and a Luis Barragan floating stairway leading
to the second floor,and french doors that open onto your
own private patio where you can enjoy coffee or a margarita at a
table with four chairs. A desk for your laptop and
high speed wireless internet are provided.You'll find lots of books and a television. A game cabinet and even art supplies are available upon request In the kitchen, cooking for yourself is a snap with the fully stocked kitchen, including glassware, dishes,pots and pans,lovely tile
countertops and a pantry, but with all the nearby wonderful places
to eat, you may never use anything but the microwave! Dressing room
with huge closet is connected to the downstairs guest bath with
shower, located off the first floor sleeping area with double sofa bed and single day bed. Ceiling fans on both levels.
The upstairs bedroom features a firm double bed, a wall of closet,
a second fireplace and a sitting room that leads to a small balcony
where you can bask in the sun. Marble bathtub and shower.
The laundry room, with a modern stackable washer and dryer is easily
accesable across the flagstone terrace.
