vacation rental description

Great views of Lake Tahoe. Secluded Lakeview house just one block to the Boulder Lodge on Nevada side of Heavenly Ski Resort. Private road leads to this 4000 square foot house beautifully appointed with all potential amenities. House has five bedrooms and three baths and is approved by Douglas County Nevada to sleep up to 16 guests.
Relax on one of the wrap-around decks and view the lake while using the Hot Tub or BBQ. Entertain in the game room with wet bar, pool table and DirecTv satellite. The house has a huge kitchen with all cooking utensils and dishes. The large dining room along with kitchen breakfast bar will accommodate all your guests. The living room has a spectacular River Rock fireplace with big screen TV with DirecTv satellite and great Lake Tahoe and mountain views. This is the perfect house for large families or a group of friends. High Speed Internet is available with a Verizon DSL hookup.
Community Pool available (Summer) to guests and is a short distance from the house.
Fox N Hound Restauarant & Bar (excellent food for breakfast, lunch & dinner) is walking distance of one short block along with the Tramway Market which is a small convenience store. It is possible to ski out to the Boulder Lodge provided there is heavy snow and it would be via the road (all
downhill). Bluego bus system runs by the house and is available to take to Casinos.
Parking includes one car in the garage along with two in driveway and two in additional parking areas. All parking is off street and the private road is plowed by a professional company. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter months for the private road. Lake Tahoe Casinos along with the
lake & beach are just 10 minutes away.

Great Location and Plenty of Room to Stretch Out After a Day on the Slopes

Stayed in house for a week last March 2011 during annual ski trip to Tahoe, were not disappointed at all. So much snow during our stay, accumulated 60 inches in 30 hours mid-week! House was comfortable and big, plenty of room for our group to spread out, great location off of Kingsbury Grade. Good amenities, nice kitchen, jacuzzi, garage parking and daily snow removal provided (or would have been stuck). Could have easily handled larger group, great for families. Owner (Peter) was great to work with before and after rental agreement, accepted credit payment via Paypal. No issues, house was clean when we got there and left it that way for you to enjoy. Need 4x4 vehicles in winter, skidding up the driveway into the garage was half the fun in addition to the 20 foot snow drifts!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Spectacular spacious home with a lot of privacy

We recently stayed at this 3-level house for 3 nights. The view from the deck was breathtaking. Besides, there was unparalleled privacy since the private road leading to the house has only 2 houses. The house was well equipped with open kitchen and one kitchen counter covered the entire wall. It must be about 100 ft of counter space. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped. The dinning table could accommodate 14 comfortably. There were 11 of us and we did not feel over-crowding at all. We brought along some DVD movies and watched couple movies on a rear projection, 60+ inch TV--TV programs through the Direct TV were really not adequate. We went bicycling or swimming in the lake during the day. It was a rather crowded weekend on the lake level. However, once we got back to the house, because it is remotely away from everything and everybody, a sense of serenity and relaxing prevailed.

This is the house that I definitely go back again.

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, sight seeing
