A Secret Hideaway in the Heart of the High Peaks region of the 6 million acre Adirondack State Park in Upstate New York, Windsong Cabin is secluded on 8 wooded acres off a quiet road in the town of Wilmington and is surrounded by a 6,000 acre state forest preserve. This 3 bedroom hideaway provides a relaxing ambience in a smoke free environment that comfortably sleeps six adults or two families with four children. And… we are dog friendly!
We are located six easy miles from Whiteface Mountain, the 5th highest of the 46 High Peaks at 4,867 feet, and the legendary Whiteface Mountain Olympic Ski Resort. A scenic drive of less than 16 miles along the banks of the West Branch of the AuSable River brings you to the village of Lake Placid, site of the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympics and now a four season vacation favorite.
Whether you are an avid skier in the dead of winter, an IronMan contestant in the heat of July, or simply enjoy outdoor activities during any one of the four great seasons in the Adirondacks, Windsong Cabin beckons you to come and play in the Mountains of New York on your next vacation.
