Villa Myage in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence

Welcome to Myage. We own a beautiful house in France, region Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, departement
Hautes Alpes in a small village Aspres-les-Corps. Larger cities nearby are Grenoble (70km), Gap
(25km) and Corps (7km).
The house can be rented as a whole or as 2 separated apartments. The house consists of 2 apartments,
each with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and a bathroom with shower. In total 4
bedrooms en suited for 8-10 persons. The house is very well suited for 1 or 2 families with kids.

One of the apartments has satellite TV/DVD, the other TV/DVD. The apartments can be rented
separately but obviously can be rented as a whole too. In de spacious garage below the house a sauna
is available with separate shower, a fitness area with equipment, table football, air hockey and
table tennis. Free tennis is available in the village (200m) for our guests. Equipment is available
for use.

The villa is located outside urbanizations at an altitude of 1000m, very quietly located and has a
big garden of +/- 1000m2 with a marvelous view. The villa is very child friendly (we have 3 young
kids of our own) and your children will love playing in the direct surroundings. Parking at own
terrain. Aspres-Les-Corps is part of the Parc National des Ecrins, a park with over 50 glaciers and
several mountains in the 4000m range. Right behind
the house you have immediate access to the mountains. The national park can be entered at various
locations nearby and within 10 minuten you enter a valley with waterfalls, snowcapped mountains and
a wild river. The city of Gap with all amenities is 30 km’s away and a large lake (Lake of Serre-
Poncon. At only 5 km a large reservoir lake is available for swimming. The area forms part of
the Côte d’Azur with an average of over 300 sunny days a year. As a result of the altitude it is
always a bit cooler than at the coast. At 24 km the ski resort of Superdevoluy is located, with
100km of ski tracks. Several ski resorts are located at about one hour drive from the house (f.i.
Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes). Activities in summer ... mountains, nature, quiteness and sun!
The magnificent surroundings offer you a variety of activities, from idling on your terrace or
beach, to many sportive activities such as: hiking, cycling, mountain biking, rafting, fishing,
tennis, mountaineering etc. Daytrips can be made to f.i. Briançon, Gap, Grenoble, Italy, Geneva,
Mont Blanc (2 hours) and even trips to the Mediterranean (Marseille, 2 hours), Nice (3 hours) are
within reach.
Activities in winter … skiing!
Within an easy 20 minute drive (24km) you will find the ski resort of SuperDevoluy
of 100km of ski tracks, 33 lifts, 2510m peak altitude). It is an attractive resort for beginners
and expert skiers. Within a +/- 45 minutes drive (48km) Orcières-Merlette (100 km tracks, 27 lifts,
2750m peak altitude). An easy 90 minute (70km) drive brings you to the large ski area of Alpe
D’Huez, with 249 km of tracks, 87 lifts, 3330m peak altitude. Another well-known area within easy
reach is the resort of Les Deux Alpes.
All of these ski resort are high class, on high altitude and the snow conditions are good (snow
machines), each with their own characteristics. SuperDevoluy and Orcières-Merlette are perfect
smaller and cheaper ski resorts, which are quiet in high season and Alpe D’Huez and Les Deux Alpes
are top destinations.
Some of our guests also venture further inland, within an 2 to 2,5 h drive it is possible to reach
many major ski areas in France, such as Tignes (226 km), Val d’Isere (226 km), Chamonix Mont Blanc
(211 km) and many more.

Rates depend on season and vary from USD 1250 in low season to USD 1750 during high season
(Christmas, February, July and August). It is also possible to rent one of the apartments for USD
