This charming and cozy renovated cottage is located on Gayfer Road Extension in Fairhope, Alabama.
Situated on nearly an acre with beautiful fruit and nut trees and flowering bushes, it's a great
place to relax and enjoy nature outside on the large brick patio area.

Inside the cottage you will find two sitting areas, two eating areas, a fully-equipped kitchen, two
bedrooms with queen-size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa. This quaint 1,300 square-foot cottage
features a Franklin stove fireplace in the living room, three TV's and two DVD's, and walk-in closet
in the master bedroom.

Peaceful Cottage in Great Location

We can't say enough about this wonderful country cottage. What a GREAT place! The squirrels and birds were VERY entertaining to watch. One day a squirrel jumped up on the ledge and actually tapped on the window with his paw. I kid you not! There are 3 television sets, wireless internet, comfortable beds, and great bathroom towels. The yard has mature trees with lots of shade and two pear trees which we took advantage of. We really enjoyed the patio area and although we arrived in the hottest month, the trees shaded the patio so it was very enjoyable to sit and drink our coffee in the morning. The cottage does have a Franklin Stove Fireplace in the living room which will be wonderful with the cooler weather coming. The location is Great! Away from the traffic but a fast commute to all the popular attractions. Walmart is right down the road as well. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful cottage in a great location.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Quiet Cottage Get-away

For our two-week stay in Fairhope we were looking for a quiet, comfortable cottage in a location that would make it easy to see the area. Most important to us it had comfortable beds, a functional kitchen and a nice outdoor sitting area so we could watch the wildlife while we had our coffee. The home was very clean and had nice linens on the beds, extra pillows and GREAT fluffy towels. Since it was quite warm while we were there, we didn't use the fireplace, but in cold weather, it makes a cozy, romantic extra. The McDonald's were very easy to work with and so helpful, even accomodating a special request before we arrived... that was "above and beyond" and we are grateful. They have a very well organized check-in/check-out procedure and although we didn't have any problems or need to contact them during our stay, I am sure they would have been happy to help in anyway they could. This is definately a place we will return and recommend to anyone looking for something in the county.

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Absolutely Wonderful!!

Cozy cottage with all the amenities of home and plenty of room. We stayed for a week and a half and the owner was MORE than helpful and willing to make sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Fairhope!
