Just a short 100 yard walk to the lifts and 100 yard walk to
Children's Ski School or (if you are not a beginner) you can jump on
the lift and ski over to the ski school area! The Mountain Edge
Condominiums are also conveniently located on the Mountain Express
shuttle bus service run, which will take you to the main base area
where you will find all the ski area shops and restaurants, as
well as the free bus service from the Mountain to Town!
This spacious condominium will accommodate a maximum of 6 people.
There is a queen in the upstairs master bedroom loft, 2 twin beds in
the downstairs bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
This condominium is located on the 3rd floor of the condominium
complex. There is a sunroom for early morning coffee with excellent
views of Whetstone Mountain and the down valley view towards the
Town of Crested Butte! There is a duralog burning fireplace in the
upstairs master bedroom loft.
The common area hot tub located at the east end of the building is
set for an envious view of Mt. Crested Butte Peak, the downtown area
of Crested Butte and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Off road paved parking lot and conference room space with kitchen
available for rent if necessary.

"My wife, two boys (7+10) and I stayed here for 4 nights, and had a great
time! The free shuttle bus IS just a few steps from the unit, and
although we never rode it people with smaller kids or those who do not
want to walk the GOOD 100 yards up the road to the lift will appreciate
it. Even if you walk up you will still have to traverse over to the
main village to buy lift tickets if you don't get them in advance. You
CAN ride the lower chair to help you up and over though. Stop in
Gunnison and grab 12 packs of Coors to get coupons for 2for1 adult lift
tickets -thanks Paige! If there is enough snow it is possible to ski
right up to the condos -we did it on one of the good snow days! The
place itself is roomy, nice kitchen open to the living area (no
fireplace downstairs like in the pic though), and the hot tub is right
down the stairs outside your front door -super convenient! From the
master bedroom upstairs you can see a chair or two and gauge the weather
from your bed! I would recommend staying here for sure."

premiers the ski slopes hosted by the Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
Downhill skiing and snowboarding are the most common
activities in the winter, but you can also snowmobile, sled, cross-
country ski and ice-skate. In the summer, discover the Wildflower
Capital of Colorado in the many surrounding mountains with 4-wheel
trails, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and horseback riding
trails! Just 40 miles away is the Blue Mesa Lake (largest lake in
Colorado) where you can rent a boat for fishing, water skiing or
even try your hand at wind surfing. Approximately 26 miles away is
the small town of Almont where you can find plenty to keep you busy--
either fly fishing, white water rafting, kayaking or duckying!
