stressful, duty-focused journey to the sea and enjoying the
rejuvenating, calming effects of the shore. Her wrap-around decks
and windows provide views of magnificent sunrises over the Atlantic
Ocean; day-long views of leaping porpoises, swirling sandpipers, and
diving pelicans; and gorgeous sunsets over Currituck Sound. All
under the watchful eye of the Currituck Lighthouse in Corolla, North
Carolina.
Four of her six bedrooms are masters, providing privacy and
comfort for both adults and children (beds: 3 master BDRs have king,
1 master has 2 sets of bunk beds; other BDRs have 2 twins, queen.
All bedrooms have TV’s and cable.
The expansive great room is comfortable and magnetizing with its
views of the ocean, surround sound stereo/CD/VCR/DVD, warming
fireplace in winter months, and lots of doors and windows to catch
the breeze. Enjoy the sunrise with coffee on one of several decks
with private access from your bedroom or from the great room. Enjoy
the sunset while dining on the screened porch or relaxing in the hot tub
or beside the heated pool. In the interim, just steps away is the open
beach where you can take a dip, fish, surf, kayak, toss a frisbee or
fly a kite with family and friends, or relish a solitary or romantic
walk along the ocean. When it's time to cook, the gourmet equipped
kitchen houses everything from bread maker to cappuccino machine,
ricer to coffee grinder. The gas grill stands at the ready or try one
of the numerous local restaurants and the variety of fine dining
they have to offer.
New for 09 a sand Volley ball court and basketball back board. While in the garage we have added an air hockey table, pool/ping pong table, dart board and a second refrigerator.
