This comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex with sleeping loft sits one
block from the Barron River in historic Everglades City. Rental
includes use of Barron River dock which offers quick and easy access
to Everglades National Park, the 10,000 Islands and the Gulf of Mexico.
Everglades City is a quiet fishing town literally at the end of the
road on the Gulf side of Florida. To the south of Everglades City you
will find 100 miles of undeveloped coast in Everglades National Park.
The area is renowned for its tarpon, redfish and snook fishing. Fish
from your own boat, or ask about local fishing guides. Kayakers and
canoers also come to the area to explore this vast water wilderness.
We can help arrange kayak and canoe rentals and tours. Many come
here just to relax and experience a part of Florida that remains
untouched by major development. This is truly a unique place! and the
perfect place from which to explore Everglades National Park, the Big
Cypress Preserve and the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve.
