'Serendipity' is only 7 miles from historic Cades Cove, where you'll find yourself slowing down for
the deer to cross in front of your car! The 12-mile leisurely trek will leave you awestricken as
you take a walk down memory lane when life was simple, no subdivisions, no factories, no job
worries, no phones, etc. Just you and nature, clear blue skies touching the gorgeous mountain range
in the distance. Untouched, luscious fields laid out before you with abundant deer, horses and wild
turkey. Not to mention sighting the occasional mamma bear with her adorable little cubs off in the
distance. Tour an old school house, church or mill and imagine how life once was. What an
experience. Nature in its truest form, the way it was intended!

'Serendipity' was recently updated with all new carpet and furniture, and includes all the amenities
of home including all linens. 'Serendipity' features a very large private sleeping loft
appointed as the master bedroom with a queen size bed and your very own reading room, glass wall and
all... amply stocked. You just may feel you're in your treehouse, looking up and out into the
forest occasionally, remembering how 'fortunate' you are to have found this lovely place, while
losing yourself in your favorite novel. There is also a private desk up here for those of us who
have to take 'just a bit' of work with us when we vacate. This master bedroom overlooks twenty-four
foot windows with summertime views of the forest and winter views of Little Mountain.
On the main level for your convenience is another comfortable bedroom featuring a queen sleigh bed,
while bedroom three has a queen size futon with a twin size bunk bed mounted on top. Serendipity
comfortably sleeps two couples and three children.
No need to bring cooking utensils, soaps, trash bags, coffee filters, paper towels or soaps. We
know you don't want to, so we've provided them for you :) Cable television, high speed wireless
internet, and a home theatre system round out your electronic entertainment needs.
Whether your day is filled with relaxation or excitement, hurry 'home' to enjoy your cozy, two-
person, romantic hot tub, complete with its own small waterfall/light show, under nature's canopy, at days end.

In a small town you may have to 'settle' for laid back activites such as hiking, horseback riding,
touring the magnificent Smokies, spleunking, geocaching, naturistic sightseeing, bluegrass, daylily
and old-timer craft festivals, and the most popular being riding a tube for hours on end! The
Little River runs the entire length of Townsend and we are proud to have a three mile bike/walking
trail ... lighted! A new and very popular arrival to our little town is the Great Smoky Mountain
Heritage Center and I'll see that you get FREE tickets to tour, just ask! Ahhhh.... relaxation for
a change!

Need a bit more action? 'Serendipity' and Townsend are only 18 miles from the ever popluar
Gatlinburg including Ober Gatlinburg ski resort, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, known to be a
shopper's paradise with all the outlet malls, etc. Stage shows, music theaters, fine dining, action
and more action. But, you'll be glad you're residing on the 'Peaceful side of the
Smokies...Townsend, TN' when the day is done!
