ORIZON home, new construction Surfer´s Paradise Orizon home construction was completed in November 2008 and was totally refurbished in January 2009. Since then this house has been featured in several magazines and newspapers for its exceptional design, especially with open spaces that adapt to natural surroundings, without losing warmth and comfort. It has 3554 square feet (330 m2) of living space, master bedroom with bathroom and closet on the top floor and three bedrooms downstairs. Situated less than a mile from the beach and just a half mile from the small town of Playa Grande. Playa Grande is an important part of the Leatherback National Marine Park, with its extensive coastline and clear blue sea, it is one of the best beaches on the Guanacaste coast. Located in the northern region of the Nicoya Peninsula in the province of Guanacaste, Playa Grande is home to the Leatherback Sea Turtle that is in danger of extinction and that comes every year to lay their eggs on this beach. It is the most visited beach for surfing and one of the longest and has the most beautiful golden sands. The north side of the beach is better for swimming during low tide if you're not so fond of surfing. The village has tourist services and recreational activities such as surfboard rentals,surf lessons, snorkeling, sunset catamaran cruise, sport fishing, diving, horseback riding, ATV rides, and of course visits to the park at night to see the arrival of turtles (in season from October to February only). Orizon is a stunning contemporary architecture house located in a natural environment without neighbors, surrounded by mountains and greenery. Just a quarter mile to the town's main street where you can access restaurants, mini supermarkets, surf schools , tour companies and cafes. Take the opportunity to shut down completely, while you enjoy your vacation at Casa Orizon and forget the stress of modern life in the city. Sitting in the living area outside the home, or in the pool or enjoy a delicious refreshing drink. You can hear and see the howler monkeys and a wide variety of birds and animals that live together on this particular property. Playa Grande is located between 2 other major beaches. Tamarindo is located 20 minutes south by car or 30 minutes walking along the beach to the rivermouth which can be crossed by taking a small boat taxi to the other side. The price is about $1 per person. Tamarindo is full of entertainment, shops, great restaurants, bars with live music , dance clubs and casinos. Flamingo is located 25 minutes north of Playa Grande. This beach has a small marina, which is being expanded, and offers fishing, SCUBA diving schools and trips. For golfers, only 30 minutes away you will find a a world-class course at Hacienda Pinilla
