Great family accomodation close to everything

Review submitted: November 24, 2011   Date of arrival: November 3, 2011

My family of five stayed here for 2 weeks in October 2011 and it was perfect. The vicinity to Disneyland, transportation and restaurants was ideal. It was a pleasant walk to Disneyland although there are transport choices. We used the Anaheim transit bus.
Julia was most helpful and could not do more to make us feel welcome. Julia drove us to the supermarket on arrival and showed us around which was great as this was our first trip to the states. The condo was fully stocked, beds were very comfortable, and the locality to the pool was great as the kids could come and go as they pleased.
The internet provided was good to book tours and keep in touch with family.
I could not rate this accommodation highly enough and will be booking again on our next trip.
Also, ask Julia to book a limo if you are travelling back to LAX.

Thanks again Julia.

Great Condo for visiting Disneyland

Review submitted: November 24, 2011   Date of arrival: June 16, 2011

We stayed for 6 days and had a 3 day hopper pass. There were 7 of us and two cars. The condo accomodated all of us and both of our cars nicely.

Julia was very good to work with. She was flexible with us even though we ended up arriving about 2 hours earlier than we had planned. We thought we would get there at 5 and ended up arriving at 3:00 or so (didn't calculate the time change...). She met us at the condo and showed us around. She even brought extra towels later that night because the supply was kind of low.

The pool was right outside the condo and we used it several times. The kids loved it. The kitchen would have been nice had we stayed longer. We stuck with sandwiches, cereal and bagels to keep things easy. There is also a barbeque on the patio that is nice. Again, we were on the run so much that we didn't use these items.

The only downside was that the master bedroom is kind of noisy at night with the traffic noise, but the condo has a whole package of ear plugs (Which I took advantage of). By the second night, we were so tired that it didn't matter and all slept well. All of the bedrooms are on the second floor.

We walked to Disneyland two days and walked to California adventure one of the days. One day we even walked home and had lunch and a nap and then went back. It took us about 15 minutes to walk. We walked past the convention center and then through the Grand Californian Hotel. It seems like they allow this as there was a steady stream of people that went through. Using this path, it takes you to downtown Disney and then up to the main gates of both parks.

Another path that we tried was to cross before the Grand Californian and walk over to the Disneyland Hotel and ride the Monorail. It takes you right to Space Mountain. Either way, it was not bad and beats paying extra for parking and fighting the traffic. We mapquested the addresses and it said 2 miles, but with the short cuts, I think it was probably closer to 1 mile or maybe a bit more. For those with small children, this might be too far, but for us it was fine.

We went to Newport Beach one day. It took us about 30 minutes to drive there. It was a nice relaxing day.

Lastly, I can confirm that you can see the Disneyland fireworks from the condo. Either out by the garage or better yet from the upstairs bedroom that faces that way. Granted, these were not as amazing as being in the park, but I think that is to be expected.

Thanks!

Wonderful

Review submitted: November 24, 2011   Date of arrival: July 11, 2011

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julia's condo. It was perfect and Julia was so wonderful to work with. It was wonderful to have the washer and dryer (a must with four little kids running around the place!), and we never ran out of clean towels. The kitchen had tons of food in it when we arrived, which was awesome for a last minute meal. The kids loved the toy box that was just brimming with toys. We were able to get some visitor parking passes for my brother and his family that lived close by. The two car garage had everything that we needed, extra strollers, boogie boards, and tons of floaties for the swimming pool and our least experienced swimmers. The pool was literally right outside the condo. Everything was wonderful!
