During peak season, the local beach association charges an additional fee to access the private beach, bay + nearby clubhouse.  Last year the fee was $90 per week for six badges and $100 per week for eight badges.  Check with the Ocean Beach Yacht Club for accuracy.  This is a separate charge from rent, does not go to the owner, but is certainly worth it for renters.
