Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful two bedroom located in San Francisco's most prestigious 
neighborhood. The house is a turn of the century victorian that has 
only two units.  It is located in the best area of San Francisco 
(like Mrs. Doubtfire movie) and would be desired among San 
Franciscan's and visitors alike.  This unique two bedroom is located 
at the garden level and has a large wrap around deck with a huge 
back 
yard with tables, chaise lounges and beautiful plants and flowers. 
The neighbor is residential so you will have quiet nights and 
peaceful Sunday mornings sitting in the back yard sipping your 
morning coffee with the fresh bagles you bought three blocks away.  

The bedrooms have closet space and are quiet at night. One bed is a 
king and one bed is a queen.  

The living room has an entertainment center equipped with cable 
internet access and a telephone that is good for local calls and 
calling card calls. There are 97 tv channels.  There is a VCR and a 
DVD Player as well as a CD Player for music.

It comes with secure parking in a double garage with easy access 
right in front of the house.  

There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. 
The kitchen has all amenities such as plates, pans and glasses. It's 
a complete apartment with a charm that is uncomparable. You will 
have 
a great deal of privacy here and can relax in a tranquil place 
within 
this busy city. Perfect for the traveling executive or star filming 
in town.

Activities and Attractions 
San Francisco has many attractions and this unit is located within 
walking distance to most.  

Within a couple of blocks you have the prime of Union Street with 
all 
of its shops and restaurants.  You have Polk Street which caters to 
some delightful establishments ranging from Petit Robert to La 
Folie! 

Ghiradelli Square is in walking distance and is about 1 mile away 
but 
don't quote me on that! It's all downhill anyway so its a pleasant 
walk. That is where Fisherman's Wharf is and the Alcatraz Tour boat 
departs.

Union Square is either a $8 cab ride or about a 50 minute walk. You 
would walk from Pacific and Octavia to Van Ness. Turn right on Van 
Ness and walk about 20 blocks to Geary. Turn left on Geary and walk 
all the way down to Union Square (you'll see a big square park and 
can't miss it) where you will find Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Saks, 
Tiffany, Hermes, Chanel, the theatre district, numerous art 
galleries, cable car turn around, among others. If you want, you can 
walk to Van Ness and California and take the cable car to Powell 
Street and then walk down the hill heading North and you will be at 
Union Square as well!

There are so many things to do and see around here. Golden Gate 
Park, 
Stern Grove, SF Museum of Modern Art, the new and exciting de Young 
Museum and the Palace of Fine Arts, just so many things.

Activities and Attractions

You can walk to Union and Polk streets. The bus is two blocks away. 
You would be in walking distance to Union Square if you want, 
Fishermans Wharf or the Financial district. There are plenty of 
taxis around right out the front door as well. San Francisco has 
many museums, historical areas and beautiful views. It takes about 
10 minutes to walk to North Beach through the Broadway tunnel or 
just 25 minutes going up and down the hills of Russian Hill. If you 
are an avid runner, you might want to be here because you can leave 
from here, go to Chrissy Field, run to the bridge and back up to 
here and have around an 8 mile run. Stop off at Jamba Juice on your 
way back on Union Street and relax walking back to the house.  If 
your interested in wine tasting there are wine stores about 5 
minutes away walking and Napa is just one hour's drive away. Car 
rental agencies are within a 20 minute walk. Carmel/Monterey are 2.5 
hours away. Los Angeles is 6 hours away. Mendocino is 5 hours away. 
San Diego is 8 hours away. Mexico is just 9 hours away (Rosarito) so 
there are endless possibilities!  All times are driving times except 
where noted.  You can, of course, go to Alcatraz on the boat at Pier 
39 for a tour, on a cruise around the bay for champagne brunch on 
the San Francisco Spirit, go to our fabulous farmers market at the 
ferry terminal, see Chinatown, Japan Center, walk on the beach on 
the bay, Ghiradelli Square and many more places.

Cleaning Fee For Departure $85
The cleaning  service is available on an as-needed basis for 
$85 per cleaning. 
There is a minimum of 7 days to rent and a maximum of four occupants.
