Domaine du Foulon - luxury Provencal mansion sleeps 12-18 in Alpes-Maritimes

Only 40 minutes drive from Nice International Airport Le Foulon is a
grand residence with beautiful mountain panoramas from every window.
Well connected for day trips to all the Cote d'Azur has to offer
(Monaco, Nice, Antibes, Cannes etc), but secluded enough to be as
restful as you wish.
We offer space for all - with a very large lounge and dining area,
separate library and adjoining double height conservatory, large
barbecue deck and a 36ft heated pool. Not to mention 15 acres of river
fronted countryside and long country walks from our doorstep.
Rent the whole property with as little as 12 people and enjoy cooking
in a large semi-commercial kitchen. Alternatively visit Le Foulon as a
b&b and experience fine food and wine, plus good company, all served
by your relaxed English hosts.
We even offer very good value 3 night weekend breaks for 12-18 people.
And a luxury French mansion won't cost a fortune - low season prices
for 18 people self-catering cost as little as €28 per person per night.
Our bed and breakfast rates are from €100 per night for two people
including a fine continental breakfast with fresh pastries delivered
daily by Patrick the local baker (a great service our self-catered
guests can take advantage of too).
Nearby you are met with warm smiles from locals not saturated with
tourists, despite our proximity to the Riviera. Medeival villages cook
up Provencal specialities enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, there
are a host of adventure activities to hand, from beginners canyoning
through white water rapids to tandem paragliding jumps. Rock climbing
to karting and during a short Winter season even skiing just 20
minutes drive away, with the reward of a view down to the Mediterranean.

left our UK careers and have spent the last 5 years bringing this gem
of a property up to the high standard it is today.

Catering: Self-catering in a semi-commercial kitchen including a huge
walk in cold room. Or rent a single room when we are run as a B&B &
let us cook for you.
Kitchen: Stainless steel everywhere, and equipped to cater for large
groups, any budding chef will be in their element cooking for their
friends. A chef service can be ordered for some nights and we also
know an excellent English chef for Provencal cookery lessons.
Dining Room: One long table for up to 18 people in a glass fronted
dining room with beautiful Westerly views down the valley of the wolf
and a setting sun.
Sitting Room: The large lounge/bar has leather sofas, high ceilings &
an ingle-nook fireplace for the winter months. We have the space to
keep everyone comfortable.
TV and Music Facilities: Plug your iPod into our hi-fi or bring CD's.
Hidden behind a picture you'll find a 42" TV with sky free-view
English channels.
Heating / Open Fires: Centrally heated and well insulated we also have
2 open fires - one in the dining room and an enourmous ingle nook.
Bedrooms: All 9 bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms and all are
furnished to a high standard. All are superkings or 5 rooms can be
reserved with twin single beds.
Linen: Egyptian cotton, 1 firm, 1 soft pillow per person, & a duvet
thickness to meet the season ensures the best possible sleep. Linen &
soft towels are included.
Bathrooms: Every room gets to enjoy a power shower with pressure & hot
water even if everyone showered at the same time. 7 rooms also have a
bath, some antique.
Disabled Facilities: Not ideal, but we've done our best. The main
areas are one step from the drive, and 2 steps away is a disabled WC
and 2 of the luxury rooms.
Children's Facilities: The great-outdoors! Or play station and the
cartoon channel. Families love to self-cater here, but as a B&B we are
infant free.
Outdoor Facilities: 36ft swimming pool, boules, a large field for any
number of ball sports, and the great outdoors itself. 4 mountain bikes
are freely available.
Swimming Pool: 36ft x 15ft, surrounded by a large faux grass covered
deck for maximum underfoot comfort. Plenty of shade & loungers. Heated
to 26-28 degrees.
Parking: Plenty of free parking and security here is not an issue. If
you are bringing something special contact us to arrange for a free
garage space.
Telecom Facilities: There is a phone for local and incoming calls,
free wi-fi plus an iMac with printer for guest use (handy for printing
off your return boarding cards).
Smoking Policy: Smoking strictly outside only.
Games Room: We have all the usual UK board games, bar billiards and
darts in a separate games room.
Nearest Town: Greolieres - the oldest perched medieval village in
Provence. 4kms by road or a hearty walk by country path with a cold
beer required at the end.
Nearest Shop: Greolieres/Cipieres - choice of a wood fired pizzeria
and 4 other restaurants.

All prices in Euros and are per week for a Saturday to Saturday
rental. Even if you book for only 12 people you have complete and
exclusive use off all the Domaine du Foulon.

Low Season: 3rd October - 18th December 2009 & 5th January - 30th April 2010 & 2nd October - 17th December 2010.
Mid Season: 5th September - 2nd October 2009 & 1st May - 25th June 2010 & 4th September - 1st October 2010.
High Season: 27th June - 4th September 2009 & 19th December 2009 - 4th January 2010 & 26th June - 3rd September 2010 & 18th December 2010 - 3rd January 2011.
Outside of high season when we don't have a weeks rental we operate as
a bed and breakfast property with individual rooms available from €75
euros per night for two people with breakfast.
