Beachfront Cabin and Affordable in Door County

This is a cute and very clean old fashioned cabin on the shore of Green Bay. It is across the Bay from Door County. It is not actually in Door County but rather Cederville, Michigan.  It is listed here as Cederville just isn't known to anyone, yet it is faster to drive here from Milwaukee, with far less traffic, than to Door County.  This side of the Bay is a secret gem.
We have a beautiful sand beach out the front door. The water is crystal clear and very warm. There is no bloom or algae on this side of the bay. The beaches and shore line here are not developed and you can walk for miles right on the sand. We are next to a county park which has nice walking trails and wonderful wildlife with several nesting pairs of Bald Eagles.
Also on the property and if you have kids, we have a bunkhouse where the kids can go and get out of your hair.  There are two bunk beds for them.
The cabin is knotty pine, but fully functional with a large kitchen and eating area.

Refund Poloicy:  If we have blocked off your time and have turned away another party you can't get a refund unless we can rent it back to the other party or a new party. As soon as you need to cancel let us know and we will re-open your time period.  If we can re rent it we will return all your funds.  Remember, once your time period is blocked all potential renters look for someplace else as the calender shows it is rented.  We will do our best to rent it out during your period, but if we can't there is no refund.

This is some of the best fishing on the great lakes and at Cedar River there is a boat ramp and two restaurants and an inn/tavern. You can also get limited foodstuffs at Cedar River.  Obviously, swimming and water activity are easy enough, but there are also ATV trails, hiking areas and trails, as well charter fishing and hunting.  Escanaba, Michigan is an old Great Lakes seaport town with a huge history and some wonderful restaurants.  Escanaba is 25
minutes north of the cabin.
While not fancy our cabin is clean. A bit old fashioned perhaps, but a lot of people seem to like that.  While our location is directly across the Bay from Door County, it is actually a much easier drive and the travel time is shorter from either Milwaukee or Chicago.  We are exactly 3 hours north of Milwaukee.

This is a place and in an area that your folks went to when they were kids. Come join us for the calm vacation you need and at a price that will make you feel pretty good too. There are lots of things to do around here including just plunking a chair down in the lake on a sand bar in front of the house and just reading in the sun and staying cool.  If you want to do some lake fishing, Charter servive is available out of Cedar Rivers new Marina only four miles away..

The cabin rate is 750.00 per week. Some weekends are open depending on time period
