Edgartown Classic Colonial - SUMMER RENTAL in Martha's Vineyard

This is our beloved family home - we are hoping to rent this summer to
one kind and caring family (no shares, sorry) who will take good care
of her during their stay. Rate is between 21 to $28,000/month or
possible to rent entire summer season.

Edgartown is one of Martha's Vineyards most elegant harborside
communities, it was the Island's first colonial settlement, and has
been its seat since 1642. Our house, built in 1868, is located in the
heart of the historic district of downtown Edgartown.

Our house is within walking distance of shops, grocers, restaurants,
island-wide bus transport, and to the ferry to Chappaquiddick Island,
where some of Martha’s Vineyard’s best beaches and hiking trails are
located. Biking, or walking distance to three other excellent beaches
in the townships of Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. Also within walking
distance to Edgartown’s famous Old Whaling Church, which has been
transformed into a performing arts center. There are great concerts
and events there all summer long.

master bedroom with queen, 2nd bedroom with trundle bed, sitting room
with single bed

• Large, outdoor deck that is great for dining and sunning. Full set
of outdoor furniture (tables, chaises, rolling bar)

large deck
• Comfortable tv/family room with library filled with wonderful books
for summer reading and relaxing
• 2 televisions — one upstairs, one downstairs. DVD players for both.

• 2 Driveways for up to five cars (this parking space in downtown
Edgartown is a real plus)
• Located on a private cul-de-sac, good for biking for small children
• Biking distance to three beaches, (all great for kids)
• Fully equipped (washer and dryer, dishwasher)

• Weekly housekeeping included. Can provide local references for
childcare, etc - these people helped raise our children :)
