Punta Clara Bay House is a spacious three bedroom, two and a half bath home built on the original site of the World Famous Punta Clara Candy Kitchen. This home is brand new and was completed 10/08. Located directly on Mobile Bay, the beautifully furnished home features spectacular views, generous gathering spaces, a large covered deck with comfortable seating and a spacious yard. Conveniently located in the heart of Point Clear between Fairhope and Mullet Point, you'll have easy access to championship golf courses, antique stores, art galleries and outlet malls. We encourage guests to bring water toys (boats, jet skis, sailboats, kayaks). A boat launch is less than 2 miles away. There is ample parking for boats, trailers and vehicles. We provide a washer and dryer, and all linens. We have a landline for local calls. The kitchen & living room offer great panoramic views of Mobile Bay and its stunning sunsets. Fish and swim from 80 feet of  waterfront bulkhead and crab with crab traps. The spacious yard features camellias and two huge magnolia trees, a perfect place for catching an afternoon nap in the relaxing bay breezes. The house offers plenty of room for barbecuing or just relaxing in the shade as the children play in the beautiful bay or on the sand.With a large great room, open kitchen and dining areas, Punta Clara Bay House is perfect for one or more families to enjoy each other without feeling cramped. Relax and enjoy the magnificent sunsets from the water edge.Visit with friends and family on the large 12' x 27' deck complete with ceiling fans for your comfort. Ideal for entertaining. Spend the day enjoying the beach or shopping in nearby Fairhope. Fairhope is a year-round favorite spot for art, walking, golf, tennis, boating, fishing, dining or just relaxing. There are many golf courses nearby. Wonderful outdoor art shows, art walks. artist studios and book stores as well as theater can be found throughout Fairhope.
Fairhope also features a Public Pier with restaurant & Beachfront park with picnic tables and boat launching facilities a mile away. The Fairhope Area has unique annual events.including Polo at the Point, Grand Summer Ball held at the Grand Hotel, Mardi Gras parades sometime between January and February, the famous Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival in the Spring,usually the third weekend in March. First Friday Art Walk, which is held the first Friday of each month. Mardi Gras was born in Mobile, AL and the two week celebration

Punta Clara Bay House is located on tranquil Scenic Highway 98, 2-1/2 south of the Marriott Grand Hotel, a short 5-minute drive from the Fairhope Pier & downtown Fairhope with its quaint shops and galleries. This bay house is perfectly situated between the beautiful Mullet Point and the Grand Hotel. Bring your bicycle so you can enjoy large side walks heading North or South for miles. We also rovide information, directions and parking for the Board Walk Point Clear, which is a walking path that meanders from Lover's Lane to the Grand Hotel. This walking path is a little-known treasure leading along Mobile Bay where you can view the bay and the Historic homes located in the Heart of Point Clear.
This would make an excellent snowbird retreat or summer getaway. The Master Bedroom has a Queen size bed, Bedroom 2 has a full size bed, the 3rd bedroom has two twin size beds, and the living room has a futon that folds out to a full bed.
