Beautiful 2/2 Oceanwalk Condo in New Smyrna Beach

This is a beautiful, clean, nicely furnished two bedroom, two bathroom unit.

There is a spacious screened in balcony overlooking the pond with table and chairs for casual dining.

Master bedroom has a queen size bed, lots of storage, a walk in closet, cable television, and master bathroom with a twin sink vanity and a jacuzzi tub. It has a private access to the balcony.

The second bedroom has two single beds, a walk in closet and private bathroom.

The kitchen is well equipped with many cabinets, cooking utensils, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator.

There is a seperate laundry room with washer and dryer.

There is a pull out couch in the livingroom that sleeps two. The livingroom has a new in-cabinet, flat screen television with DVD player, comfortable lazyboy chair, and direct access to the balcony.

The unit has a telephone with free local calls and new central air conditioning.

Bed linens and bathroom towels are provided.

This is building #1. It is a unit very close to the beach access across the street. Other units have a considerably longer walk, which can be an issue when you are carrying things or have young children. This unit is adjacent to the tennis courts, workout center, club house pool area, and small putting green. The unit is on the 4th floor and has nice views.

This condo is in a gated community. It has an elevator from the private underground parking area.

Oceanwalk condominiums have two clubhouses and meeting areas with television and kitchen facilities, two heated pools, a jacuzzi, two lighted tennis courts, a basketball area, a barbeque near the pool, a nice fitness center, a dry sauna, a putting green, and nature trails. There is high speed internet in the club houses.  

The beach is in a very desireable no-drive area, uncrowded, with clean white sand. Watch beautiful sun rises and sun sets. The beach is a major turtle sanctuary. If you're lucky, you may see a giant sea turtle come to the beach to lay her eggs. During calm seas you will see lots of dolphins and
sometimes, manatees.

New Smyrna Beach is a laid back beach town with many fine restaurants, fresh seafood stores, numerous art galleries, specialty shops, and friendly people.

There are a number of good, reasonably priced, public golf courses nearby. There is a newly built, full service Publics supermarket a few miles from the condo.

Approximately 3 miles to the south of the condo is a 57,000 acre national park with remote beaches and an interesting discovery center.

Approximately 5 miles to the north is a 73 acre nature preserve with three miles of boardwalk through a variety of eco-systems on the river and ocean.

Just across the inlet is an historic lighthouse with a nautical museum.

The New Smyrna Beach inlet is one of the most consistent surfing spots on the east coast.

You can fish off the many free city piers along the river or surf cast right on the beach.

From our beach you will have awesome views of NASSA space shuttle launches from Kennedy Space Center.

Orlando is aproximately an hour drive away. There you can visit Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Wet and Wild, and other attractions.

Approximately one hour away is St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States. There is an historic fort there and lots of specialty shops and restaurants.

The Daytona International Speedway, the site of the Daytona 500, is just a 30 minute drive away.

Bring your bicycles. At low tide in the summer, the beach is perfect for riding.
