Happy Ours Apartments-Walk to Nokomis Beach in Nokomis

Located just north of Venice is Casey Key/Nokomis Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the
Gulf Coast! We are located at the foot of the Albee Road Bridge, so you can leave your car at the
Apartment, not fuss about parking, and walk to the Beach, if you so desire.
Happy Ours consists of studios, as well as one and two bedroom units. Close to shopping, walk to a
convenience store, gift shop and homemade ice cream parlor! We live at and manage the property, so
you can be sure that there is always someone on the premises to take care of your needs or answer
any questions you may have.
Sit in our courtyard area for morning coffee, you are sure to meet some friendly egrets there. Take
a stroll on beautiful Nokomis Beach and return for a comfortable gathering with other vacationers.
Take a leisurely bike ride through Casey Key and then return back to the beach for some of the most
spectacular sunsents you have ever seen!

All of our units are lovely. You have your choice of queen or twin beds. All units have sofa beds
for your ocassional guests. Kitchens are full-size and fully equipped. All necessary linens are
provided. There are laundry and barbecue facilities on the premises.
Bikes and beach chairs are available on a first come basis. Beach Towels are also available.
There are two waterfront restaurants and a full service marina and water sports area across the
street from our apartments. Rent a boat, a jet ski, or just enjoy lunch on the intercoastal.

Are you a golf lover? There are seven public golf courses within the Venice/Nokomis area. If
fishing is your sport, the Albee Road Bridge is known for its Snook Fishing or rent a small boat for
picturesque rides through the intercoastal, or charter a boat out of Venice or Sarasota.
We are minutes from Sarasota, known as the cultural city of the West Coast. Enjoy theatre and
musical events at the Van Wezel as well as the Sarasota Opera House. Explore the Selby Botanical
Gardens and, of course, the Ringling Museum that houses the finest art collection of John Ringling.
Stay closer to home and visit historical Venice, with its wonderful shops or collect sharks teeth on
the beach and have lunch at Sharkys, one of the finest restaurants on the Gulf of Mexico.
