Remodeled in 1996, the retreat’s 7 separate bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 5 showers and 3 bath tubs accommodate up to 17 people, without sacrificing comfort or privacy.

Boat, swim, kayak, or canoe on Lake Elmore. Climb or mountain bike Mt. Elmore. Or take in the clean air, blue skies, and perfect climate with a bike ride, walk or jog down country roads.

There’s also plenty to do without ever leaving the four-acre wooded property. Toss horseshoes, play ping-pong, badminton, volleyball, or try a game of croquet on one of three terraced lawns. The gear is all there, waiting to be enjoyed. When you’re ready for a break, grab a book and recline in an Adirondack chair under a beautiful elm.

Cook up a great dinner, or have your own personal chef prepare your meals for you in either of the 2 large open kitchens. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views of the Vermont wilderness which surrounds this beautiful wooded retreat.

If you have a taste for restaurants, museums, or theater, you can be in the heart of either Stowe, or Montepeliar in just 20 minutes. Supermarkets, hospital, movies, restaurants and shops are minutes away.
