Vacation Rental Description

Cozy and freshly remodeled, this 1920's garden-style Bungalow, is 
conveniently located only a short walk to the first of three sandy
beaches.  There is also a wonderful wood burning fireplace in the
Bungalow with plenty of free firewood.  Stay connected with wireless
DSL Internet Connection and Cable TV.  Also there is a fully automated
Shiatsu-Massage chair to enjoy.  Or, let life's little aches melt away
while you enjoy the backyard's new $10,000 hot tub with an amazing
variety of massaging jets and a beautiful multi-colored waterfall. 
Feel at home with a fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher,
coffee maker (with coffee), tea pot (with tea), microwave, large
toaster, blender, waffle maker, bread maker, juicer, gas stove and
broiler, basic condiments, spices and enough flatware and dishes to
seat 8(eight)-plus.

The Bathroom has a large shower, heat lamp, towel warmer and plenty of
snuggly soft towels.  We also supply the basics necessities in the
medicine cabinet, i.e. aspirin or band aides; so please help yourself.
There is also a washer & dryer with laundry soap in the laundry room
at your disposal.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Sleeping arrangements are a breeze with an open-architecture floor
plan easily accommodating the queen sized Murphy bed in the bedroom
area, a queen sized innerspring futon in the living room area and
available at your request either 2(two) adult-sized twin cots or a
single twin sized aerobed.  The area in front of the fireplace, once
fully cooled, makes a great place to setup the cots or the aerobed,
especially since the only door in the house resides on the bathroom. 
You will have total privacy with thick velvet privacy curtains on both
the 1st and 2nd bedroom areas.  A Floor Plan is available on our
website.  Once on our site, choose Santa Cruz - Capitola - Aptos then
select 1 bedroom and studios then choose the details for the Bucks
Beach Bungalow.

FREE Amenities include calls made to local, national and 43
international countries, firewood, computer, DSL connection for 
email & internet, several bicycles, and 100’s of free videotapes to 
watch, cable tv, all paper supplies, local newspaper, linens, 
towels and even fluffy bathrobes for use after the hot tub.

Activities and Attractions

There are 6+ bikes available to ride at your leisure.  The Village of
Capitola is only about a 10 minute bike ride to the south.  There you
will find a large beach complete with volleyball courts, seaside
restaurants and fun shops. When riding north you will discover the
world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where the west coast's oldest
wooden roller coaster runs daily and you can enjoy world-class
entertainers for free on Friday nights during the summer.  Staying
around the house you find entertainment as well; maybe play some
foosball on our outdoor regulation-sized table while waiting to enjoy
  one of your favorites grilling on the large gas barbecue.
You would be all set if you wanted to make some homemade bread.  We
have ensured all the supplies and even the bread maker are there for
you!  We even left all the directions for you in the ice cream maker
in the freezer so you can make your favorite ice cream!  Seating is
ample with 6 redwood chairs and tables as well as 4 beach chairs and
umbrellas.  We have Off-Street parking for 2 cars, provided by a back
alley access off Hawes St., just around the corner from the front deck.

Sip your morning coffee out on the redwood front deck; and enjoy the
fresh gentle breeze while you watch the sailboats floating by and the
street is more of a path with surfers, bicyclist and people strolling
by admiring the beautiful gardens; including those of the Bungalow's.

Vacation Rental Rates

September 16th - June 14th: 
Sunday-Thursday = $250/night
Friday-Saturday = $350/night
7 nights(1 week) = $1700 with one(1) day Free
 There is a 2-day minimum  

June 15th - September 15th:
Sunday-Thursday = $281.25/night
Friday-Saturday = $375.00/night
7 nights(1 week) = $1875 with one(1) day Free
  There is a 5-day minimum*
