activities and attractions in Sonoma Wine Country
Close to many wineries and parks. Some of the wineries: Benziger (our
favorite tour)is 10 minutes north in Glen Ellen (where Jack London had
a home which is now a State park), Arrowood, Blackstone, Kamen Estate
Wines, Larson Family Winery, Ravenswood, and Sebastiani to name a few are all within minutes.
The Sonoma Plaza and Vallejo's Garrison are 5 minutes away. Several
parks within minutes, Sugar Loaf State Park (great hiking and views of
the Valley), Annadel park, and Howarth Park are about 20 minutes
north. Barthlomew Park is 5 minutes away. Barthlomew is a historic
winery and park. Sonoma Mission Inn is walking distance, where you can
have the massage of a lifetime. Old Town Petaluma is 20 minutes west,
Copia in Napa is 20 minutes east and more wineries, all within 5 to 10
minutes, than one can list.
45 minutes to San Francisco, Point Reyes National Sea Shore, Bear
Valley, Bodega Bay. Fort Ross and Salt Point State park are within one
hour drive.
