Vacation Rental Description

Stay in St. Augustine's nicest 
condo establishment. Ocean photo on website is taken from our balcony.
Quiet, well-maintained, with 24 hr security and attentive 
on-site management. Many families are repeat customers.  
Sit on the nicely furnished patio and enjoy the sunrise. Condo has  
southern exposure, making it sunny and light. Recently decorated,  
cottage style. Living room and master bedroom have walk-out doors 
to patio w/great ocean views. 
Our condo was recently painted and upgraded with new living room
furniture as well as bedroom furnishings.
Master bedroom has new KING bed/bedding; guest bedroom has one twin and one
double bed.
The couch is a queen size sofa sleeper. WiFi (wireless internet) connection available. Cable tv in 
both Masterbedroom and living room, with DVD/VCR in living room, VCR in bedroom.
Free local phone service. 
Kitchen fully accessorized, with full sized range/oven/microwave,  
refrig w/icemaker, and full-sized washer/dryer. 
Balcony has full sized round table and comfortable chairs.
Ocean view from living room and balcony, also accessed thru master
bedroom.
Beach is a convenient 3-5 minute walk over the dunes from our unit.
      

Vacation Rental Amenities

The most outstanding feature is the beautiful 17 mile stretch 
of white sand, oceanfront beach, easily accessed by a walkway 
w/covered gazebos. 
     Among the features are: 
     -outdoor pool w/hot tub
     -heated indoor-outdoor pool, fitness center and ping pong tables     
      in the clubhouse area 
     -4 lighted tennis courts 
     -2 lighted racquet ball courts 
     -2 shuffleboard courts 
  
     -restaurants and shopping within walking distance 
     -bike rentals/boat rentals/ fishing supplies/ within a mile

      

Activities and Attractions

The quaint, charming, old town of St. Augustine is across the Bridge
of Lions, approx. 10 minutes from the condo. The beautiful Spanish 
architecture can  be appreciated from tour trolley or a walking 
tour. Better yet, take  a horse-drawn carriage tour of the old city. 
Come back for an evening Ghost Tour and meet some of the town's 
former residents!
Castillo de San Marco, the original Spanish fort dating from the  
1500's, now a National Park, is not to be missed! There are many 
other worthy sites as well: 
     -the Alligator Farm 
     -Flagler College 
     -Ripley's (Believe It Or Not) Museum 
     -Potter's Wax Museum 
There are many fine restaurants, such as world-renown 25 Cordoba 
Street, and Harry's, where local musicians entertain diners in 
the lovely, intimate courtyard. 
If shopping is your interest, you can shop the unique boutiques on 
St. George Street or the outlet malls, St. Augustine Outlet or 
Belks  Outlet Mall nearby.  Or browse the numerous antique shops and 
vintage book stores. Within the greater perimeter around St. 
Augustine, are 
other attractions: 
     -World class golf courses at World Golf Village. (There is also 
     an IMAX there). Also nice courses nearby. Check with front desk.
     -Daytona Beach and the Speedway, both 45 minutes away 
     -Marine Land, about 30 minutes South on Route A1A 
     -Cape Kennedy (Canveral)Space Center -1 hr away. Check 
      NASA's website for launch schedules. 
     -the vibrant city of Jacksonville, 45 minutes north on I95, with
      MOSH (the Museum of Science and History), Jacksonville Zoo, and  
      other sights is of historical/cultural interest.
     -the Jacksonville Jaguars Professional Football games bring  
     many visitors to this area 
And Holiday Seasons in St. Augustine have their own attractions: 
     -Christmas brings the Festival of Lights 
     -Easter is highlighted by Easter parade and Blessing of the Fleet 
     -July provides a wonderful fireworks display 
     -Enjoy concerts/festivities year round in the town park.
