People say that The Village at Breckenridge is in the best location in Breckenridge, and we couldn't agree more. This ski-in/ski-out resort is right at the base of Peak 9 and one block from Main Street. The Village at Breckenridge is very family-friendly. There is an onsite child care center which operates during ski season, and the renowned Breckenridge Ski School is conveniently located right within the complex. This resort has all the amenities for your family and friends to enjoy - indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, work out room, ski and board rentals right on site, etc.

The floor plan of this corner unit is the largest of all the 2-bedroom configurations in the Plaza buildings at 1,112 square feet (and possibly more depending on the source). The configuration is ideal with two bedrooms separated by the family room. With a southeastern orientation, it is located alongside the Blue River, with views of the mountains around Mt. Baldy and Quandary Peak, Maggie Pond and partial views of Peak 9.

Other people have suggested that we might have gone overboard in our improvements for just a "rental." Maybe so. But to us this is more than an investment property; it's our second home. Like you, we appreciate all the fine details and finishes you see in the new luxury developments in Breckenridge. So in our renovations we've included those extras: slab granite countertops, hand-textured ceilings, new alder doors and trim throughout, stainless steel kitchen appliances, premium quality kitchen cabinets, gorgeous slate flooring in the kitchen and front hall and entry, spacious bathrooms with designer tile and stone, Kohler fixtures and custom alder vanities with 2 sinks; and a new fireplace with a natural stone surround. This is a totally different quality level than the many dated "bronze" level condos you hear about in the rental pool managed by the large property management companies. We receive many compliments on the carefully selected furnishings and decor. The style is "mountain elegant" with a cozy and inviting feel to it. Guests tell us that it feels like home. We want you to feel that way too.

In everything we do, we think of your comfort and enjoyment as well as our own. All the mattresses (about 2 years old now) are of excellent quality and very comfortable. We know it can be difficult for visitors, especially from the south, to adjust to the dry Colorado air, so we provided two Air-O-Swiss ultrasonic humidifiers, which are among the most effective room humidifiers that you can buy. We've included games, puzzles, DVD's, magazines and books for your family to enjoy. We have a Graco Play 'N Pack too. Not many condos have a top-notch built-in 5.1 stereo surround system!  There are two HDTV’s: a 37" in the family room and a 32" in the master bedroom.  Now enjoy HD video and audio on the 4 new HD TV channels.  Bring your iPod or Laptop and enjoy music and videos on the best sound system in The Village.

These activities listed above are either within the resort or within a few blocks. In addition, Breckenridge or Summit County also offers cross-country skiing, horse-drawn carriage rides, golfing, ATV'ing, a world-class ice rink open year-round, the Peak 8 Fun Park in the summer, mine tours, outdoor music and art festivals in the summer and fall, a Rec Center with tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, skate park and many other amenities. There's always something going on in Breckenridge. In outlying areas you can enjoy river rafting on the Arkansas River, and water sports on beautiful Lake Dillon - sailing, kayaking, etc. Summit County has an extensive paved bike system; also many mountain bike trails.
