Mountain Home Retreat; Luxury in a Rustic Mountain Setting in Winter Park

This beautiful mountain home is centrally located in the Fraser Valley. It is luxury in a rustic mountain setting. The home is situated on a large wooded lot giving you the peace and tranquility you are looking for in a mountain getaway. Yet, the home is just minutes away from all the outdoor activities available in the Winter Park/Fraser area.

Relax in your own private hot tub or have some fun playing poker on a fully equipped poker table. There is also a big screen TV in the rec room with plenty of room for all to enjoy a movie together. Sleeps 12 to 14 people comfortably. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed, third bedroom has a queen bed, fourth bedroom has two double/twin bunks and there is a double sofa sleeper in the lower level recreation room. It is only 5 years old, over 2,400 sq. ft of living space, with all new furniture and accessories, and with a great, fully stocked kitchen. Your group will find our home a very comfortable place to relax after a hard day of playing in the outdoors.

  The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to create wonderful meals for all your guests. There is a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range and stove. We have included all the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen and have tried to have it available in our mountain home. As an example, we have included a coffee grinder alongside the coffee maker.

There are also plenty of dishes and utensils for two meals so one set can be in the dishwasher while you should have plenty for use on your next meal. We have included high quality pots and pans as well as additional small appliances that you would not normally have available in a rental home. These would include a rice cooker, a crock pot, waffle maker, and even an electric griddle! We also have a nice tablecloth and cloth napkins for special occasions and meals. Creating a huge meal like a thanksgiving meal with all the fixings is not a problem at our home!

The home has all the entertainment amenities that you want. Both living areas feature High Definition TVs with an HD signal from Direct TV. The Direct TV Channels include premium channels like HBO and Cinemax as well as satellite radio signals for music. Both entertainment systems include home theater speaker systems. We include a collection of DVD movies that are available for your use.

Additionally, we have an X-Box entertainment system for the kids. We also have a small collection of X-Box games for use. We have board games and books for kids as well. For the adults, we have a Poker game table that we have equipped with poker chips - so no need to bring your own!

Other amenities include free local and long distance as well as high speed internet with WiFi connection. You will need to bring a laptop with you to access the internet.

We have an outdoor hot tub that has a heated walkway. No need to trample through ice and snow! It is so wonderful to sit in the hot tub after a day spent in the outdoors and enjoy the stars.

We provide plush bath towels as well as extra towels for the hot tub. We include high quality soaps and detergents as well as paper products to get you started. You may even have enough for your entire stay! We have a new large capacity front loading washer and dryer for your use.

The home is heated through radiant floor heating which feels great when walking barefoot through the home on those winter days or when getting out of the shower and stepping on the warm floor tiles!

We also have a heated oversized garage with plenty of room for your ski equipment and mountain bikes. The 0.67 acre lot allows for lots of room for snowball fights and for making snowmen in the winter. It also has an excellent open area for a gentle but thrilling 150 ft. sled ride. The kids seem to love spending their extra time playing outside even after a hard day of skiing.

Local activities include world class downhill skiing at Winter Park/ Maryjane (10 minutes away) or Sol Vista (15 minutes away), cross country skiing (10 minutes to a Nordic Center or right out the door), snowmobiling, and many other great mountain recreational activities. Summer activities offer hiking, mountain biking, rafting, golf, fishing, boating, festivals, and fun family activities at the base of Winter Park Ski resort.
