New 3BR+Loft/2BA log house & 2BR/1BA cabin on 2 acres on year-round McKinney Creek in quiet McKinney Estates, Homewood, West Shore Lake Tahoe. Our log home and cabin have been custom built of 14 inch Engleman Spruce logs by craftsmen from British Columbia. Property has convenient car access, is
heavily wooded and close to all conveniences.

House and cabin have open floor plans with log beams and vaulted ceilings with natural wood paneling, tile and hardwood flooring and are decorated in a Tahoe style to compliment the beautiful wood interior. Large main deck and private loft deck overlook McKinney Creek which runs year-round. Vermont-Castings cast iron stoves with glass doors heat the house and cabin and all bedrooms have
baseboard electric heaters.

Units are professionally cleaned after each rental and house sleeps 10 in 3 bedrooms + loft. Upstairs master bedroom has one queen, loft has one queen fold-out futon, downstairs bedroom #1 has one queen, bedroom #2 has one full and twin bunks. Cabin sleeps 6+ with queen in BR#1, BR#2 has a full with twin bunk beds. Bring your own bed linens and shower towels or they can be provide for an additional fee – all beds have pillows, blankets and comforters.

Private 2 acres leads down to year-round McKinney Creek with room for private winter snow play and sledding. Lake Tahoe is a short 1/2 mile walk or drive to the Chambers Landing public beach & pier. Homewood Ski Resort is 1 mile from the house & cabin. The Tahoma Market PDQ is ¾ mile up the road and Tahoe City is 10 minutes away with shops, grocery stores and restaurants.

Close favorite spots include Homewood Ski Resort, Chambers Landing Beach/Pier, Meeks Bay, the West Shore Blvd Bike Path, Sunnyside Rrestaurant, Obexer’s public boat launch & dock, Sugar Pine Point, DL Bliss and Emerald Bay state parks. Homewood Ski Resort is 3 minutes from the cabin, Squaw Valley
(1968 Olympic Site) and Alpine Meadows ski resorts are 15 minutes away. North & South Shore casinos are 30 minutes away.

$450 p/night (house & cabin), $290 house, $190 cabin
