Cabin Lodge Ambiance in Salt Lake City

This charming home has a true cabin/lodge feel and is located in Salt Lake County at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon and is within one stop light or 15 minutes drive up the canyon to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts.  Enjoy both mountain and valley views of Salt Lake City including sunsets over the Oquirrh mountains.

The living room has lofted vaulted ceilings, large windows, wood beams, a home entertainment center with 50” plasma TV/DVD,  cable (with sports channels, plush XLarge sofa, card table, two reclining chairs, cozy wood burning stove, pool table that converts to ping pong and is open to the kitchen.  

Kitchen features a fully-equipped chefs kitchen with granite countertops, eight foot bar/serving counter/cooking island, large eight person dining table, stainless steel five burner gas range, over-sized fridge with ice-maker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker/steamer, mixer etc.  Seating place-sets for 14-20 people.

Five bedrooms with a total of six queen beds.  Loft overlooks living room and includes a bunk set (1 full, 1 double mattress).  All bedrooms have their own TV/DVD.  Main floor sitting area includes a pull-out queen bed.

Four bathrooms, four showers, two jetted tubs, four person slate steam room.  Master bath is beautifully stone tiled.

Children’s playroom includes a TV/DVD, Nintendo with games, large bean bag, and children’s toys.

Home exterior accentuates the vacation cabin feel with mountain and valley views.  Includes three decks, barbeque, HOT TUB, chairs, picnic table, gazebo and private wooded backyard with granite stone wall surrounding property.

Restaurants and shopping are within a five minute drive (includes 2 large grocery stores, fast food, pizza, SKI RENTAL, and convenience stores).  Fine dining for Thai, Indian, Italian, French, Mexican, Chinese are within 10 minutes.  Liquor store is also just 10 minutes away.  Home includes a welcome book with directions and property owner recommendations.

We provide FREE HIGH SPEED WIFI INTERNET.  There is a cordless phone in the kitchen area, and one more in the master bedroom. The kitchen phone also has an answering machine.
