Be ready to experience the beauty and tranquility in this hidden jewel far away from stress and cold weather. Yet, only 30 minutes away from the "white City" of
Merida, a colonial master piece, to find all amenities of USA/Canada
and Europe. You will travel on a 4 lane highway from Progreso to this
gorgeous city of over one million. While in Progreso, you will be only
four blocks away from the beautiful malecon and the famous pier (world
longest pier and yet expanding). There are seafood restaurants, local
cafes and street vendors. You could buy mangoes or just drink from
fresh coconuts on a hot sunny day...but don't be fooled with 28-30C
temperatures either. It could get to 20-23C in the evenings as the
"norte" winds hit the Yucatan Gulf area. Well, this should be enough
to entice you to experience a real dream. If I told you everything
then why visit Yucatan.... ? You may have a very good
