Unwind and enjoy the wonderful views while rocking on the covered
wrap around deck. You can also take in the views while relaxing in
the hot tub, then warm up in front front of the cozy wood-burning
fireplace in the family room. The kitchen has been stocked with
everything you need, whether you're preparing a large group meal or a
romantic dinner for two. Take in those great views from the dining
table while you eat!

The cabin features TVs in each bedroom and family room all with built
in DVD/VCRs. Big kids and small love the X-BOX. Cheer for your
favorite team on the 60" Plasma big screen TV with Blue Ray/DVD Player and surround sound while playing pool. Free High speed Internet access through WiFi is available for your laptops.

Snuggle up with your favorite book on the upper level loft (and maybe
catch a nap) in a cozy overstuffed chair or just sit back, relax and
enjoy the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this
tastefully decorated High Country Hide-Away. Comfortable furniture
and the owner's personal touches will help make for an enjoyable
stay. 

Whether you want a weekend getaway or an extended stay, tranquility and/or excitement can be found here.  At an elevation close to 4000 feet the temperature rarely get's above 80 degrees, so come beat the heat or visit in the winter and enjoy the snow activities.

Location:
Crystal Mountain, is a quiet gated community hidden off of Shulls Mill Rd which runs between HWY 105 and HWY 221.  Conveniently located 6 miles from Blowing Rock, Boone and Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store).  It's centrally located to all of the High Country attractions and is less than 5 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance.

Crystal Mountain community has a common area with picnic tables under a pavilion.

Upper level – 1 bedroom with king size bed, full bath & loft/reading area
Main level – 1 bedroom with queen bed, and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds that each bedroom shares a full bath.   Main enterance to the log cabin home, kitchen and family room are also on this level. 
Lower level – 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a rec area with a pullout queen bed sleeper/sofa plus a bathroom that is connected to the bedroom

Additional information about rental rates and reservations:
* Add $75 for processing fee (which includes departure cleaning fee)
* Additional fees include 12.75% for NC sales and County lodging tax
* Add extra $25 per night for holiday weekend rentals
* $250 refundable Security Deposit is required.  It’s usually returned in 7-14 days after checkout.  Once my housekeeper verifies the cabin was left in the condition it was found (besides normal cleaning).
* A Rental deposit $250 is required to make a reservation along with signed paperwork.  This $250 rolls into your refundable security deposit once full payment has been received.
* The total rental balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date or immediately if booked within 30 days of your visit.
* Forms of acceptable payment are: Personal Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order and Credit Card (Add 3% for credit card Service Fee)
* Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED - Owner is highly allergic to cats and dogs.  Please don’t even ask.
* Check in is after 3:30 pm and Check out is before 10 am
* To make a reservation please fill out the online form on this website which will send me an email so that I can then send you an email with the paperwork necessary to make a reservation.  Please be sure to check your spam/junk mail folders for my return emails too.
* Must be 23 years and older to rent
* THIS IS NOT A BIG PARTY CABIN!  It’s located in a neighborhood with some year round residents that don’t appreciate a lot of outside noise after 10pm
* This is a non-smoking cabin
* 4 Wheel Drive is recommended in the winter months mid Dec - mid March
* Parking is limited to only four vehicles
