Peaceful Waterfront Home in East Falmouth

Completely renovated waterfront house with a deep water dock, within
walking distance (200 yards) of a private association beach.

This peaceful home sits on a wide inlet and overlooks Washburn Island-
a beautiful 330 acre undeveloped island that is part of the Waqouit
Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

The house has a wrap-around deck with stunning views; a large yard; a
small, private sandy beach; and a dock with nearly 3 feet of water at
low tide which offers bridge-free access to Vineyard Sound.

This house was completely renovated over the 2008 summer. From
kitchen appliances to furniture- pretty much everything is new (email me for
our website address- it has a list of the work we did).

The house has 3 bedrooms and a loft and can sleep 10 people
comfortably. It has a very large 2nd floor master bedroom overlooking
the water with king size bed and private porch. Downstairs are 2
bedrooms-one with a queen bed and the other with a twin over double
bunk bed. There is a queen pull-out couch in the living room and
futon in the loft.

Other features/amenities include: cable, high speed internet access,
WIFI network, dishwasher, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, patio, gas
grill, beach with easy entry for kayaks, and deepwater dock.

The house overlooks the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research
Reserve which offers kayaking in its 1000+ acre waters, fishing,
clamming, waterskiing, sailing, multiple beaches (many accessible only
by boat) and hiking.

There is a public boat launch and marina within a mile of the house.
Martha's Vineyard is a 15 minute boat ride and offers days of exciting
activities including beaches, shopping, and biking.

Mashpee Commons and Falmouth Center are both within 5 miles of the
house and offer great shopping and dining.

In addition, Falmouth has miles of town beaches, bike trails, ferry
access to Martha's Vineyard. Woods Hole offers a hands on aquarium
and educational options for children.
