We invite you to stay at the perfect beach getaway in our highly sought after quiet resort of Gulf Place Caribbean, off of scenic Highway 30-A.  It's free from high rise hotels, crowds, congestion and traffic, and is right in the middle of Destin and Seaside. Located right across the street from the the beach, this 3rd floor condo has a balcony view that looks directly over a lake, and a private path that leads to the beautiful sugar-sand beaches and emerald waters of Santa Rosa Beach. This home away from home is furnished with all the basic necessities for relaxed living.

The inviting light and cheerful living area holds a comfortable overstuffed sofa (sleeper) that seats 3, a new La-Z-Boy recliner, cable TV with a new 32"LCD-HD flat screen TV with a built in DVD player, a stereo and CD player.  The living area is open to the dining area and kitchen, and is great for relaxing or entertaining. The kitchen has everything you need to make even a large meal for the family. There's a full set of dishes, new pots and pans, new skillets, several sets of glasses, a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender, crock pot and just about every utensil you should need. We even have a rolling igloo cooler that's handy for taking drinks poolside or to the beach. The dining area is rather roomy, and has a  table that seats six. There are also two counter top chairs at the bar. It's just right for getting everyone together to reconnect and enjoy a meal with friends and family. Best of all, you can open the double French doors and enjoy the breathtaking views of the gulf from just about anywhere in the room, and at night, you can hear the waves rolling up on the shore.

The balcony on the back of the condo has a quiet, semi-private sitting area where you can watch our spectacular sunsets. There's a beach white wicker table that seats four and is perfect for your first morning cup of coffee, meals, games, or just relaxing.

The bedrooms are decorated in warm inviting colors and comfortably furnished with two queen sized beds in the second bedroom, and a queen sized bed in the master. Both bedrooms are equipped with brand new 32" LCD-HD-TV's with built in DVD players. Both bedrooms have a bathroom. The second bedroom's bathroom has an entrance from the bedroom and from the hall. Kids love the snug recessed bunk-beds in the hall (but they're just as comfortable for adults). There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, making the condo spacious enough to sleep 10. There's plenty of room for the whole family, but it's also cozy for two.

 The (snow white sand) beach here is quiet, scenic, clean and right across the street from the condo. Great for walking, sunbathing, swimming and playing in the water, and of course making sandcastles. We provide beach umbrella's, beach chairs and also beach toys for the kids. We like to take our chairs and a beverage and relax on the beach while we enjoy our amazing sunsets, or take a nice evening stroll along the water.

When you're ready for a break from the beach, there are a lot of other things to do. In the town's center there's an outdoor amphitheater and large grassy area where you can play ball or Frisbee with the kids, and watch a concert on Sunday nights in the summer. If you like shopping you'll love the charming clothes shops Gidget's, SOHO, or Hepburn's (to name a few), or the decadent bath and body shop Pachoul's. Or check out our local artist's wares at the Artist's of Gulf Place outdoor kiosks. You'll also find Butterfly Bike Rentals that carries lots and lots of different sized bikes and other outdoor water equipment for rent as well. You'll also find a surf shop, spa, and pharmacy on the property. If you're hungry, there's the popular Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor where you can find great coffee and desserts. For casual indoor or outdoor dining, there's also the Smiling Fish Cafe` (live music on the weekends in the summer), Amore Pizzeria or Kiwi Cafe` (for great breakfasts and desserts). If you'd rather cook, there are quite a few convenient grocery stores nearby and Publix and Wal-Mart in Destin. There are a couple of fresh seafood markets right in the town of Santa Rosa Beach also. Goatfeathers is about 2 miles (on 30A), and the best fish market around. You can eat there or take it back to the condo.

The Beaches of South Walton represent the nation's best beaches with its miles of unspoiled shoreline and natural habitat. It is designated as the only place in the country to receive the Blue Wave Environmental Certification from the Clean Beaches Council for all 26 miles of its coastline.
