The entire garden floor of a charming 1890’s brownstone townhouse, is a spacious 750 sq. feet, sleeping 2- 4 people. You have the option to double the space (approx 1500 sq. ft) with the addition of the entire 2nd "parlor" floor (accessed through an internal staircase), adding two large separate bedrooms, two additional full baths (one ensuite, 3 total) and a washer/dryer. The apartment is well furnished with the garden floor separately containing an attractive and comfortable living room, combination Dining Room/TV/Lounge with easy access to the spacious garden/patio area, and a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, microwave, toaster-oven, coffee maker and cookware. The garden floor has a full bathroom with tub and shower and has sleeping accommodations for 2-4 people, the addition of the parlor floor results in sleeping accommodations for an additional 4 persons, for a total of 8 (described more fully below). The apartment is located on a lovely block in the highly desirable West 80’s residential neighborhood. With a police station down the street, it may the safest block of a generally safe area. Everything you should need is provided including cable tv, wireless internet, bedding/linens/towels, as well as ample closet and drawer space.
The apartment is ideally located a short walk from both Central Park and Riverside Park, the Museum of Natural History and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. It is close to Zabar’s the self-described “Gourmet Epicurean Emporium,” a popular destination for both visitors and locals alike, with something delicious for everyone. The neighborhood is alive day and night, and contains a wealth of restaurants for every palate, as well as bars, playgrounds, movies and shops. Transportation is terrific -- close to two major subway lines, buses traveling both east- west, and north-south – with easy access to all the attractions on your itinerary, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and the theater district. Cabs are plentiful as well. Just strolling the neighborhood and parks can be a particular casual pleasure. Traveling to the sights of lower Manhattan is easy, as well.

• Trundle bed in Lounge/TV room doubles as a couch for relaxation and can be used as two twin beds, or put together to create a queen bed. (sleeps 2)
PARLOR FLOOR sleeps additional 2-4
• Queen bed in master bedroom with private full bathroom (sleeps 2)
1-2 single beds in second bedroom, plus sleeping loft (sleeps 1-3)
Kitchen- is equipped with microwave, toaster-oven, dishwasher, as well as all basic kitchen equipment and tableware.
Bed linens and towels are provided.
