HELLO,

I just wanted to leave a review even though I didn't get the chance to stay at this lovely rental. Unfortunately, something came up and cause my group to not be able to rent this lovely place. So we had to decline this rental. However, I wanted to leave a review because NANCY (THE OWNER), was very SWEET and DID FAST REPLY to my emails. I really appreciated her time talking to me and everything. I'm sure, they will not give you guys a hard time. When I get the chance again to find a place in Isle Palms, I'm surely coming back to ask for this rental!

The Best Vacation We've Ever Had!

This was one of our dream vacations. Our children had never seen the ocean as we are from the land locked midwest. We had seen the pictures of the house on the net and I decided it would be worlds better than staying at a hotel or a cramped condo. And I was right.

When we arrived, the owners met us and went out of their way to give us the tour and to make sure we had everything we needed of a lovely relaxing time. The home is full of lovely antiques, right down to cast iron skillets in the kitchen. I can't tell you how I enjoyed cooking with those. The fridge and dishwasher seemed brand new and worked like a dream. I loved spending time in the kitchen.

I wish I had more time to spend in the reading room. I've always wanted one. And my husband and children were thrilled with the huge TV and satellite service. The three bedrooms were perfect in size and comfort. The screened in back porch facing the pool was a staple for us. We spent tons of time out there swimming, playing and bar-b-quing.

My husband was really taken with the antique charcoal grill and made some outstanding meals utilizing the fresh local seafood. The lobster was out of this world.

There is a lovely playground right across the street that our children loved. We could watch them from the wicker patio set in the front yard surrounded by a lush garden populated with bluebirds and cute little squirrels. It was like a little slice of heaven. I'm more than a little in love with this house.

The best part was the beach. My favorite memory that I will take away from this vacation is the look on my girl's faces the first time they saw the ocean. It was priceless and something I will never forget. Words can't describe what it was like, that's why there's video, right? The beach was only two blocks away. It is never overpopulated. It's super clean. And the seashells are amazing! We brought back at least five pounds of seashells.

Of course, the location is close to so many things. Charleston is less than a half hour away. Fort Moultrie is right down the road, and it's pretty amazing. We really loved seeing the Fort. The aquarium is nice, but it's not a large aquarium like in Tennessee or Ohio. The carriage tour through Charleston is worth every penny, if you love history like we do.

All in all, not only are we coming back next year, but are telling all our friends and family to come here, too. So should you.
