British Cottage in the Heart of the Smokies in Franklin

Cabe's Cottage is located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in
Clark's Chapel of Franklin, North
Carolina. Located just 10 minutes from Franklin, it is built in the
flavor of a British cottage and
makes a peaceful get-away with glorious mountain vistas and quiet
privacy; it is conveniently
located near Maggie Valley (skiing), Gatlinburg, Highlands, and
Cherokee (history and casinos).
Also, it is just 2 hours from Atlanta and near many lakes,
waterfalls, horse and hiking trails,
rivers and creeks for fishing, and rivers for rafting, canoeing and
tubing. The area is a wonderland
of outdoor entertainment. But, for the antique seeker, there are
shops and stores to delight your
senses. Several gourmet restaurants in town will tickle your palate -
Cafe Rel and The Chef and His
Wife are fabulous, but arrive early, as they are sure to have a
waiting crowd.

Delightfully and completely furnished for your comfort and pleasure,
there are four separate levels
with multiple activity areas. Sleeping up to 8 adults, the master
loft has a king bed and is warm
and cozy with knotty pine and hardwood floor. Two other bedrooms have
queen beds, and there is also
a queen sofabed in the living room. Linens are furnished. Downstairs,
there are 2 double futons for
the children. The cottage has CH/AC, ceiling fans, a gas fireplace
upstairs and woodstove in the
game room downstairs. We just added a fire pit outside. There is cable TV, a DVD player with some
movies, a Nintendo game and internet service.
The kitchen is complete, there is a washer/dryer, jacuzzi bathtub in
the master bath, shower,
bathtub/shower in the hall bath, hairdryer, cable TV with VCR
(movies) and a local phone. A small TV
is downstairs that children can connect their video games to. If you
feel like grilling, there is a
full-size grill on the back deck. just pick-up some groceries, bring
your toiletries/clothes, and
you're set! If you should need anything, we have a local
representative that will be glad to help.

Cabe's Cottage has an unheated swimming pool for the summer months
(May - Sept), several card tables,
some books, movies, and a pool table/game room downstairs. You can
shoot pool, watch TV or videos,
relax on the decks, sit by the pool or swim, or simply take a hike on
the mountain. 
Visitors are within 2 hours of Atlanta, a day's drive of Maggie
Valley, Gatlinburg, Highlands,
Cherokee, and Asheville. With numerous creeks/rivers and waterfalls
nearby, the activities are
endless! Stop by the Chamber of Commerce for up-to-date activities in
the area. We also have many
trail maps and brochures in the cottage. Enjoy!

$150 deposit that is returned after home is cleaned and inspected.
$50 cleaning fee.
$75 non-refundable pet fee for small dog up to 20 pounds.
Rental form and all monies paid 2 weeks prior to visit.
Cancellation fee of $150 if booking cancelled within 2 weeks of stay.
$100 - $200 per day with 3 day minimum.
$600 - $1000 per week year round.
$1800-$2200 per month year round.
