Kestrel Hawk Log Home in Madison

This is an excellent home retreat that is perfect for family
getaways, romantic evening or weekends. We are not excepting more than 8 guest at this home. We rent this home on a daily,weekend or weekly bases. Our fall and winters are beautiful here and worth it.
This home is 1465 sq. ft. on the first floor and
500 sq.ft on the second floor which is an open loft with a beautiful
view of the woods. It also offers a wood fireplace that is 28 ft
high wrapped with stone.

We no longer offer prom parties or wedding reciptions due to the wear and tear.
This is strickly a sacred , relaxing place to come and relax and get away from all of what you already have in the city .
We encourage retreats, as in drumming circles, book clubs, small gathering of reunions,beading classes, meetings ect.

t.v is 42" great for football games ,dvd,vhs,dishwasher,butcherblock
counters,fully furnished, we include
towels,sheets,pillows,blankets ,dishes ,pot,pans,silverware.
Coloring books for children and a frog pond with private trail to
walk for bird watchers.
Private trail,smoke-free enviroment,wraparound decks and balconies.
Grill bring your own charcoal and fluid.

There is a wonderful restaurant within walking distrance called Springers with wonderful views of Lake Kegonsa and great food, so there is no need to leave once you have arrived to Hawks Nest and do not feel like cooking .

This Lake is Spring feed and the cleanest lake in the surrounding area great for fishing and boating .If you are intrested in renting a boat you may do so at Kegonsa Cove short driving distance from here.

Kegonsa State Park is accross the street offers
swimming,playground,camping,trails,cross country skiing.                                                                                                                   Snow Drifters offer trails .                                                                              Kegonsa Cove offers boat rentals of all sorts by the day or half a day.                                                                                                         Shopping,opra house,art museums,historical museum and much more

Weekend Rate :(2 night rate) $500.00 for 6 guest (Friday-Sat or  Sat-Sunday                                    $40.00 extra per person/ per  night for 2 additional guest

Holidays weekend for up to 6 guest is $780.00

Weekly Base price OFF Peak $1000 fall discount (except holiday and not offered with other discounts and no more than 6 guest

We charge peak rates for holidays. 

We do have a last min.10% discount

If property is still availiable 24 to 48 hours before your intended stay and
offer a 05% discount for cash payments.                                                        (This offer is deducted off our peak rate )
