The Grand Alexander House circa 1895 in Savannah

This is a truly historic home on a brick street with lots of southern charm. The location is perfect and the house if FAB. It has 12 foot ceilings and is furnished with wonderful antiques. If you want to experience Savannah like the locals and stay in a GRAND HOUSE, this is the house for you. Rock on the front or back porch and sip on your favorite beverage in the cool southern air. It's close to everything. Walk to parks and shopping.  It has a huge secure backyard for your pet to run and play in. This house is plush with all of the amenities and it makes for a very comfortable stay. It is centrally located and near all of the big attractions. Forsyth Park is just 2 blocks and in walking distance. It is easy access to the Island and the interstate. Thank you for looking and please note that our only requirement if you do rent the home for your vacation is that you a FABULOUS TIME!!!
The house is large and can accomodate festive gatherings. So, if you are getting married in Savannah it is a great place to host out of town guests. Many of Savannah's most beautiful churches are within 5 min's of the  house.

*There are queen beds in the Master in the 2nd bedroom and in the 3rd bedroom.
**The library can be set up for a 4th bedroom on request

REALLY 6-8 people can sleep comfortably in the house but I say 6 since it is a 3 bedroom with queen beds.
*There are two full baths are upstairs and a half bath downstairs.
*It has a full stainless steel kitchen (cook in if you like, the kitchen has everything you need to cook with).
*There is a formal living and dining room and a library room.
*There are 5 flat screen televisions in the home. Every bedroom has a TV and the library is very comfortable to watch movies

*Free WiFi
*All linens are of great quality (I have to have great linens) The beds of course are comfortable.
*There is a big backyard, a grill, a back porch swing and rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy the southern air.
A daily cleaning service can be provided if you like. You may also request for a cook to come in.
A pet sitting service can be hired. I can personally recommend restaurants and make reservations for you as a guest.

There is a lot to do in Savannah. Also there are day trips to be made to Tybee Island,
Charleston, and Hilton Head Island. Oh and the food!!! Yes of course, Paula Dean's restaurant, Lady and Son's is in Savannah. Its not far from the house. The home is centrally located. It's the perfect location. 
The home will certainly have brochures available and you may inquire about what things you would
like to do during your stay. I love Savannah and you will too.

Rates:
There is a 3 night minimum. Call or email for specials. The home rents for $1900 for seven days. Please inquire if you would like to have more than 6
people in the home during your stay. There is a library that can sleep additional people but this will have to be discussed before the rental agreement. Small pets are fine. If you have a larger pet, please call. They will be accepted if they are well behaved. There is a very large secure yard for them to play. Holiday RATES: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Yrs. Eve will vary.  Please inquire for these time periods. Thanks!!
