The Bella Vista is a stunning 9 bedroom private, gated estate located
on a cliff overlooking Lake Catamount minutes from Steamboat
Springs. The property has a 5 bedroom main house, and 4 bedroom
guest cottage and sleeps 10 to 26 people.

All rentals are group exclusive.  No other guests will be lodged during your vacation giving you a tru "private resort" experience.

During Ski Season, your group and your equipment will be chauffeured door to door from Bella Vista to the ski area in our private shuttle.

In-ground pool, lighted outdoor tennis court, fire pit with fireside
seating, indoor 10 person natural rock jacuzzi, game room with pool
table, pinball and arcade games. Three kitchens, two laundry rooms,
three wood burning fireplaces. Great room with big screen TV,
surround sound, full bar with keg tap and ice maker, whole house and
outdoor audio system, free wireless internet and much more.

Steamboat offers year round fun for the whole family. Enjoy skiing,
snowmobile tours, dogsledding, skating, sleigh rides and snow tubing
in the winter.  In the summer months go white water rafting,

air balloon or helicopter ride, or soak in the world famous
Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

Great vacation for an extended family; awesome hosts!!!

Our extended family stayed at BV for a March wedding that took place up on the ski slopes. There were 6 families with 19 members ranging from teens to 85 years old. We booked both the main house and the guest house which afforded everybody a comfortable place to sleep. On two evenings we all converged on the main house for a big family dinner. The kitchen facilities accommodated all of us made this a real pleasure; plenty of plates, glasses and silverware, new high end appliances and two dishwashers. And the huge, long dining table sat all of us with a spectacular view of the valley below.

While dinner was cooking, the gang enjoyed watching basketball on the huge TV, playing foosball and hanging out in the spacious living room. After dinner, most of us retired to the hot tub to soak sore muscles for the next day on the slopes.

Kevin and Vanessa were fantastic hosts and caretakers. We had snow on 2 of 3 days and Kevin had the walks and driveways cleared before guest house people stumbled over to the main house for coffee and breakfast. They provided us with transportation to and from the ski slopes and picked most of us up from the wedding reception. They even took a group of us out to the airport, even though it’s quite a drive. Kevin kept dry wood in an interior storage space ready for use in the wood burning fireplaces. On top of all that, we really enjoyed their company; they are great down-to-earth folks who love what they do. These guys will treat you right!

We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to enjoy Steamboat Springs’ other outdoor activities and the rest of BV's outdoor features. One of the teens said she wanted to get married at the BV. Great idea in my opinion … but I’m not in any rush for that one!

Our 4th year back and we had a great time! The snow was deep and made for some great turns. Thank you so much. See you next year.

Amazing!!!

We recently had our wedding at Bella Vista and everything about this place and our wedding was perfect!!! We spent 5 nights there with our families and no one could stop talking about how magical Bella Vista was - from the views of the valley and lake to the perfectly cared for grounds and accommodations. The caretakers Jenn and Britt could not have been more helpful or friendly. They made everything about our weekend that much easier and more special. We will definitely be making a return visit to Bella Vista in the future and will have many great memories to last us until the next time! :)
