Casa Madera,a locally designed, beautifully appointed teak house  
centrally located in the middle of Santa Teresa and is everything a 
beach house should be. A 2 minute walk down a wooded pathway through 
the tropical forest opens to the pristine natural tidepools of one of 
the most amazing beaches Costa Rica has to offer. Five minutes more 
and a surfers dream come true with some of the best breaks this 
breathtaking beach area hasto offer.This home is so well located  
that a car isn't necessary since the best beaches,hotels, markets  
and restaurants are footsteps away yet you feel as if you are  
surrounded by an exotic garden in the middle of the tropical forest  
with howler monkeys,chickens and roosters and iquanas all around you. 
 
Casa Madera is unique in that it really has two completely 
self-sufficient living areas and is perfect for a wedding party,large 
family or 2 seperate groups. It can be rented as 1 large house or 2  
seperate units depending on availability.  
 
The upper area is a large open space completly designed with local 
teak and bamboo. The tall ceilings create a spacious, tropical  
feeling with the room consisting of its own kitchen, queen bed,  
double bed, bathroom, sitting area and opens to a large outside  
deck. It is very romantic and charming being the perfect hideaway  
for a couple seeking some privacy or a small family or group that  
doesn't mind sharing the open space.It can be offered as a seperate  
unit as well as a master suite. 
 
The the lower unit is air-conditioned  and very cute and colorful.It  
includes 3 modest bedrooms with double beds in each, a central  
living room, bathroom, and kitchen area. The bedrooms are equipped  
with a wall fans as well and bamboo shelving. The 
wooden and bamboo details are charming. The shower has hot water  
andthe kitchen is fully equipped. In the garden, the comfort of an 
outdoor shower and a big patio with a roof made of palm leaves is a 
perfect place to have lunch or relax on the hammocks.  
 
Linens, towels, hot water and bi-weekly cleaning service is 
provided. With a 8-10 person capacity, this house is perfect for  
groups,couples, or large families.
