Our cozy cottage has a water view, and is just three blocks from the
Potomac River and one block from Monroe Bay. It is completely
furnished. Colonial Beach is a golf cart community. We have 3
bedrooms and 1 full bath with a brand new ceremic tiled shower, livingroom, kitchen, sun porch for dining
or reading/relaxing, a den, and a deck and large backyard. Enjoy
walking along the river, lying on the beach, and visiting Igleside
Winery and Westmoreland Berry Farm. Enjoy one of the many fine
restaurants that Colonial Beach has to offer. Our kitchen is well
stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, condiments, spices and
linens.
Visit the birthplace plantations of President George Washington and
General Robert E. Lee. We are less than 2 hours away from Washington,
DC, 2 hours from Baltimore, 2.5 hours from VA Beach and 45 minutes
from Fredericksburg, VA. Bring your bikes to ride around town. Kings
Dominion Amusement Park is less than 1.5 hours away.
Westmoreland State Park has some of the best fossil hunting on the
east coast along with a swimming pool with a great view of the
Potomac River. We are pet friendly. Please inquire.
