First let me say about the review before mine that was submitted on January 28th. We stayed there beginning February the 18th and there was a brand new couch and grill there and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. I hope this review gets to the property owner as there are somethings that he might not be aware of. Cleaning by the fireplace in livingroom, there was soot all over the wall, tv and stone in front of fireplace that could be wiped off but looks like it has not been getting done, also main bathroom on middle floor has lots of mildew on grout . We noticed that there are two heat pump units outside but could only find one thermostat on the top floor, if the fireplace is on it gets very warm and the heat does not come on for the other floors. I think the pool floor needs its own heating system and maybe turn the pool temp up a degree or two as it was a little cool and maybe a small fridge in the pool area so you don't have to go all the way back upstairs for a drink. Garbage can on porch needs a raccoon proof lid, those little suckers kept taking the lid off and throwing it around. Also need better instructions for how to play movies and getting surround sound to work in middle bedroom with the big screen. OK I know it seems like I am complaining but really am not, just want the property owner to be aware of some things. About our stay let me just say it was AWSOME. We are already trying to plan when we can come back. It was just my husband and me for our anniversary and even though there are a couple of other houses around we did not see or hear anybody else. The house was clean and taken care of, you can tell that the owners put some effort into decorating(not overly done) and to the needs of guests. There are three bedrooms with king sized beds, all with comfy pillowtop mattress. There were alot of ladybugs inside the cabin but they had a note explaining why and they did not bother us a bit, come on its ladybugs. The pool area was great, the pool was alot bigger than we thought it would be(sometimes people take pictures to make things look bigger) we were down there the most. The middle floor was fun with the pool table and ipod stand, have a few drinks, play pool and listen to music. Hot tub was right outside the door, lots of room and comfortable. Anyway this place was just what we needed and we did not want to leave. We will definitely be going back and would also like to try there one bedroom rental

Family stayed... would not again

Furniture was old and outdated. Couch in living room area could only hold 3 people. You could feel the springs in the couch. No other comfortable chairs at all for people to sit. The kitchen had one wine glass (the smallest glass I've ever seen) Could not cook a meal easily since there was not even a mixer. If you plan to cook at all, you would have to bring all your own cooking needs. The grill was disgusting and falling apart, plus filthy. For the money there are way too many places to stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We've stayed at places in and around Gatlinburg for years and this by far was the worst.
