Casa Bosco, Villa in Olivegrove, Sea Views in Chiavari

A self-contained Villa set in a beautiful mediterranean garden and olive grove with views
of the
sea from the house and terraces. It forms part of an olive oil/wine producing
estate, and we are happy to offer you FREE wine and extra virgin olive oil. The house was
an old farm house which has been completely renovated, and is decorated in a clean
modern
style whilst keeping its Ligurian country-house character.
There are 3 double bedrooms (one with 2 beds), one single, one cot, and a double sofa
bed in
the small sitting room downstairs.
There are 2 bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub, basin, bidet, WC and a utility room
with WC
and basin.
There is direct access to the bedrooms from secure gated car parking space.
Downstairs there is a fully equipped separate kitchen separate dining room, large sitting
room
and smaller sitting room with open fire (we can provide logs). These rooms have direct
access
to the gardens and terraces.
Outside, there is a large wooden deck, where you can sit to enjoy the views of the olive
grove
and sea, whilst you sip your wine and plan tomorrow's excursion.

The Villa has Wi-Fi internet connection, satellite TV, cel. phone for local calls.

There is a dishwasher, clothes washer, microwave oven, gas hob burners, electric oven,
refrigerator/freezer, iron, hairdryer, juicer, portable BBQ in the garden, full gas-fired central
heating, hot water, electric lights and power points.

Chiavari is the largest of the Ligurian Riviera towns with all the amenities you expect:-
train/bus, hospital,
Cathedral, daily fresh produce market, beautiful old arched porticos with fashionable
shops and of course wonderful food shops which offer the local specialities of pasta al
pesto, marinaded fresh anchovies, foccaccia, icecreams, pastries etc. There are many
bars and restaurants, both in the old town, and by the sea.
Chiavari has a world class marina, where you can take boat trips to the Cinque Terre, or to
S.Margherita and Portofino. Sestri Levante is nearby, with its romantic sandy Bay of
Silence, and Zoagli with its traffic free
Piazza which gives directly onto the pebble beach where time seems to have stood still.
Portofino is of
course famous for its A list celebs and beautiful yachts, which you can admire while
enjoying a bellini
cocktail or pacciugo icecream in its lovely old harbour.
Chiavari has a long, decked promenade with exotic shrubs and fountains. Its beaches of
gravelly sand or
rocks and pebbles provide safe, clean swimming with showers, loungers etc some of
which are provided by
the town council.
The region's capital is Genoa, where the international airport is, and which is famous not
only as the
birthplace of Christopher Columbus but also for its modern spectacular Acquarium in the
renovated old
port - well worth a trip for its ancient palaces, theatres, shops, squares and bars.
